There are a few instances in Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated where a character is credited despite that they should not have been. In "Where Walks Aphrodite," two referees are credited to Matthew Lillard and Tony Cervone, but there is only one referee, and he does not speak in the episode. There is also a guard credited in "Scarebear" and a reporter credited in "All Fear the Freak," but no such characters appear in the episode (although the reporter is credited to Nolan North, who played the reporter in the previous episode, "Pawn of Shadows").

Although they weren't technically theaters, I did include TV stations where a stage was a main part of the plot in case anybody wants to vote for them.
The final results are in for our Be Cool Daphne quirk polls, and puppets win by a large margin! Puppets ended up getting 63 votes, and mime ended up getting 15 votes. Thanks again to Greybishop for suggesting this poll series idea! **Spoiler warning: This fun fact contains spoilers for the Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! episode "Night of the Upsetting Shorts"**
We have another Be Cool fun fact to go along with the conclusion our Daphne Quirk polls! At the beginning of "Night of the Upsetting Shorts," the Ape Man is watching the gang seconds after they walk into the nursing home with Grammy and her friends. This leaves a large plot hole in the episode, as Grammy is the culprit, and could not have been watching the gang as the Ape Man while she was still with them. The votes are in, which means it's time for our final round of the BCSD Daphne Quirk polls, where we pit the two winners against each other! Here are the full results from the season 2 poll:

Here is the official press release description from Warner Archive's Facebook post: The HANNA-BARBERA SUPERSTARS 10! Ten feature-length telefilms starring all-time favorite Hanna-Barbera characters, including Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Scooby-Doo and more! In 1987, the legendary animation team of William Hanna and Joseph Barbera brought forth a series of ten feature-length animated features to television, all of which would feature their most popular cartoon characters. These films were sold into syndication as the HANNA-BARBERA SUPERSTARS 10, each providing irresistible entertainment. Yogi Bear and Scooby-Doo each star in three productions, along with a one-time only meeting of THE FLINTSTONES and THE JETSONS, Judy Jetson takes the spotlight in her own adventure, while HUCKLEBERRY HOUND heads up an exciting all-star Western, and the loveable TOP CAT and his gang star is a story set in Beverly Hills. For these productions, Hanna-Barbera was able to use many of the original performers who provided their voice talents in the original incarnations to re-create their roles for these films. Animation voice talents including Daws Butler, Don Messick, and Mel Blanc, are the original voice casts of THE JETSONS, Arnold Stang, Marvin Kaplan, and Leo deLyon once again provide their TOP CAT character's voices, and of course, all of the Scooby-Doo gang is on hand to top off the fun. Each of these unique production provide an opportunity for audiences of several generations to celebrate and welcome back their favorite Hanna-Barbera favorites of years past. This first-ever complete collection, remastered in High-Definition, provides a wealth of animation history, as well as entertainment for youngsters who are discovering these characters for the very first time. EXTRA BONUS CONTENT: "SCOOBY GOES HOLLYWOOD" (HD) on SCOOBY-DOO AND THE RELUCTANT WEREWOLF "YOGI'S ARK LARK" episodes from "YOGI'S GANG" (HD) on "YOGI AND THE INVASION OF THE SPACE BEARS" There has been quite a few rumors and even a subtle nod by character designer Tracy Mark Lee that instead of The Hex Girls episode, a KISS episode was originally planned in its place. A storyboard animatic just posted by the Behind the Scoobs Instagram account confirms this. The animatic shows KISS and the gang stopping the same crazed roadie (Tiny) in the Hex Girls episode who was possessed by the cursed guitar.
In addition, for those who haven't kept up with that account's posts, they've also revealed some very interesting things about the original concept for SCOOB! The numerous pieces of concept art and storyboard animatics they've posted shows that the film was originally much darker and grittier, and was heavily implied to be written for an adult audience. In addition to Dick Dastardly, the film was originally going to have a mystery involving a ghoul named Dr. Bandersnatch, a mad doctor who roamed an abandoned asylum as a zombie (see design in header image above). Based on what has been posted by the account, the film would have had a lot more fight scenes, one even involving blood. Perhaps the biggest hint to the film's PG-13 rating was that the culprit, who would have been Meryl Streep, calls the gang "dumbasses" after being unmasked, and references "the munchies." Perhaps the film's biggest difference is that it went much deeper into Hanna-Barbera lore. In addition to Blue Falcon, Dynomutt, Captain Caveman and Dee Dee, the film was originally set to feature Penelope Pitstop, Jabberjaw, Atom Ant and Grape Ape. Captain Caveman was also given a much bigger role. The Hanna-Barbera stuff was a lot less surface-level as well, involving extended sequences paying homage to classic Hanna-Barbera shows (a long Wacky Races sequence was posted by Behind the Scoobs). It's been interesting to watch the animatics from the previous version of the film, as I feel it's given more insight into how the writers got to the finished product of SCOOB! One of the most common complaints about the film is the lack of mystery, but these animatics confirm there was originally a mystery within the film's plot that was removed (presumably due to being not kid-friendly). It appears the film's original version also had its plot much more heavily based on Greek mythology, which you can see the slight remnants of with the Cerberus stuff in the final version. It seems like many of the ideas from the original film were kept, but aspects that wouldn't have been appropriate for kids were removed, and parts that might be a bit too complex (such as the deep cut Hanna-Barbera stuff and the Greek mythology) were also toned down to make it more palatable for a younger audience. I doubt this will be the last SCOOB! animatic that we see, since the account seems to be posting a couple per week, but I just wanted to share my thoughts on what we'd gotten so far. In some European countries, in "Mysteries in the Disorient Express," the scene where Daphne sticks earplugs up her nose was cut due to worries that children might mimic this behavior.
Behind the Scoobs has posted another tidbit of Scooby news on Instagram. The cover of a script, titled Scooby-Doo! Gremlins Getaway, was shared in a post. The font of "Gremlins" in the title matches the font of the logo for the 1984 film Gremlins, meaning this is likely a crossover with that film. The film is written by Jane Becker. The post lists the year 2023, but it is unclear whether this film is still in production or if it was another tax write-off. It may be worth noting that the account's previous posts have all listed the production year, rather than the release year, so it is possible that this film is still coming.
Also, if you haven't been following this account's other posts, I highly recommend you check out their profile. In addition to the stuff I've shared on the blog, the account also has posted a number of other character designs for unreleased films, including a model sheet of the chef from Scoob! Holiday Haunt, plus a Hex Girls poster, some backgrounds of a rooftop concert, another character named Dylan Luke Dylan from Haunted High Rise. In addition, the account has shared some interesting information about the original concept of Scoob!, which was completely different from the 2020 version we ended up getting. The original concept involved the ghost of a mad doctor named Dr. Bandersnatch, and included other Hanna-Barbera characters such as Grape Ape and Jabberjaw. Time for part 2 of our Be Cool Daphne quirk poll! Note that a few episodes are not listed here, and this is because Daphne didn't have a quirk in those episodes. These include "Scroogey Doo," "Protein Titans 2," "Pizza O'Possum's," and "Professor Huh? Part 1." In "Professor Huh Part 6 ¾," Daphne's quirk is a callback to past quirks, so it's also not listed here.
One option completely blew the others away in part 1 of the poll series. Puppets moves on to the Winner's Circle Round, which will be next Sunday, and it will be up against whatever option wins this week!
