When Batman discovers his original purple gloves have gone missing, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo travel back in time to Batman's Year One era to solve the case! In the kick-off story by Ivan Cohen and Dario Brizuela—an adventure when Batman discovers his original purple gloves have gone missing—Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo travel back in time to Batman’s Year One era to solve the case!” reads a company statement. “Will this time-traveling heist have a happy ending? Even if the ghost turns out to be a fake, that still doesn’t solve the real mystery: How did someone get into the Batcave to stage the phony phantom—and does that mean Batman’s enemies have cracked the secret of his true identity?! Batman & Scooby-Doo Mysteries #2, “Going Bats,” written by Sholly Fisch with art and cover by Randy Elliott, arrives in print on May 11 after digital chapters beginning on April 24.” Thanks to Deandre (aka Scoobyfan4ever) for sharing this info, which he found on the 13th Dimension. SCOOBY-DOO WHERE ARE YOU #108 written by SHOLLY FISCH art and cover by WALTER CARZON ON SALE 2/16/21 $2.99 US | 32 PAGES | FC | DC Talk of mysterious curses and lost treasure is pretty common out on the moors, but when a terrifying howling begins to haunt the night, Scooby and the gang are called upon to investigate. Finding themselves trapped in Wilson Gottrich III's mansion with his strange guests, the gang will need their combined sleuthing skills to uncover the mystery before it's too late to escape from the Hound of the Moors… It feels like forever since I've done one of these! Here's the comic solicitation, courtesy of GamesRadar+, for December 2020! Also, FYI, GamesRadar+ is the same place as Newsarama, where I used to get these solicitations from, they've just changed their website name.
SCOOBY-DOO WHERE ARE YOU #107 written by DEREK FRIDOLFS art by RANDY ELLIOT cover by DEREK FRIDOLFS ON SALE 12/15/20 $2.99 US | 32 PAGES | FC | DC It’s Friday night, and Scooby and the gang are ready for some bowling at their favorite hangout! When the Skulldugger’s rampage clears the alley, Mystery Inc. stays behind to investigate. Can the gang flush out the culprit in time to spare the house? Or will it be game over for Coolsville Bowling Alley? Courtesy of GamesRadar (what appears to be the new name for Newsarama), here are the Scooby-Doo comic solicitations for October 2020. It's also worth noting that with these solicitations, we've finally moved past the "catch-up phase" where DC Comics was trying to catch up on printing the issues that were delayed due to COVID-19. SCOOBY-DOO, WHERE ARE YOU? #106
written by SHOLLY FISCH art and cover by RANDY ELLIOTT ON SALE 10/20/20 $2.99 US | 32 PAGES | FC | DC Usually, when an artist is readying an exhibit for the public, the biggest fear is a critic's review. That would still be the case…if a ghostly visitor hadn't begun to haunt the Museum of Holographic Art's newest exhibit! Can Scooby and the gang use their renowned sleuthing skills to see through the ghost's plans before the museum is forced to shut down for good? Update: This "new" series is apparently a reprint of three stories previously published in the 50th Anniversary comic released September 25, 2019.
Did someone say a new Scooby-Doo comic series? This coming Saturday, June 27, a brand new Scooby-Doo comic series will release its first issue under DC's new "Digital First" platform. The series is titled Scooby-Doo! Mystery Inc., and appears to have an overarching storyline, based on the series description. Here's the description from the DC series page: "One by one, the members of the Scooby gang are disappearing! Can Scooby solve the mystery alone?" The series will be rated Teen, however, for an unknown reason. The comics will only be available digitally on big comic platforms such as ReadDC, Apple, Kindle, Comixology, etc. and will cost 99 cents. It appears DC Digital First and their normal comic line have no sort of connection, thus why no information regarding it was released in the monthly comic solicitations. The first issue will be titled "Snack Attacked!" and can be purchased on this page beginning June 27. Here's the description of the first issue: Scooby and the gang must stop a group of monsters from shutting down the Scooby Snacks factory. A free three-page preview of the first issue, which will be 17 pages overall, is available at Comixwire.com. DC Comics has finally caught up with the comics intended for release before the pandemic. According to Newsarama, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You #105 will be released on August 18, pushed back from the original June 17 date due to a backlog of comics to print during the pandemic shutdowns. Note that August 18 is a Tuesday, not a Wednesday when Scooby-Doo comics are typically released. Check out the solicitation below:

With the COVID-19 pandemic, all DC Comics were delayed in shipping due to mass printing facilities being shut down. Now that some of these facilities are allowed to reopen, DC Comics has released an updated version of their June solicitations. These solicitations include Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? #104, pushed back from April 15. Because of the delay in publishing #104, DC has postponed #105 from its original June 17 date. A new date has not been announced yet, but it will likely be delayed a full month or two until DC is able to print and release the backlog of comics that built up over the past two months of shutdowns.
Note that #104 is now being released June 2, which is a Tuesday, as opposed to its typical Wednesday date. Here is the updated solicitation for Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? #104: SCOOBY-DOO, WHERE ARE YOU? #104 written by SHOLLY FISCH art and cover by SCOTT JERALDS Usually, when skateboarders talk about a “gremlin,” they mean a skateboarding newbie. But not when the death-defying extreme sports of the Z-Games are sabotaged by a gremlin that seems all too real! Who’s really behind the boarding bogeyman? To solve the mystery, Scooby and the gang will have to trade in the Mystery Machine for kickflipping, nosegrinding skateboards of their own. Can their sick tricks help the gang unmask the gremlin...before Scooby and Shaggy wipe out once and for all? ON SALE 06.02.20 $2.99 US | 32 PAGES FC | DC You can view the other non-Scooby DC Comics being released in June on Newsarama. |
