It's been radio silence from WB on the comics front since the February 2025 solicitations came out last November. In addition to Batman and Scooby-Doo Mysteries ending, I think it's safe to say that the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! comic series has been cancelled. We have through the June comic solicitations now, and there has been no sign of Where Are You on the roster for four months.
There's been some discussion in the comments about the rumor of WB potentially selling Looney Tunes. I did some investigation this morning, and found that the Looney Tunes comic line also stopped around the same time, releasing its final comic in November. Take this with a grain of salt, as I have nothing to base this off of, but if the rumors about Looney Tunes are true, the sudden disappearance of Scooby comics makes me curious if WB is considering a similar fate for Scooby. Again though, there's been nothing to confirm this, and this is completely my own speculation. Despite the lack of any other comic news, we have just gotten a cool announcement about Scooby Apocalypse. On September 16, 2025, the Scooby Apocalypse Omnibus will be released, collecting all 36 comics in one 920 page hardcover book. The list price is $125. Here's the description according to Amazon: A bold, dystopian fiction-fueled reinvention of Scooby-Doo! The entire Scooby Apocalypse saga comes together in this thrilling collection that reimagines the beloved Mystery Inc. gang in a monster-ridden dystopia. Follow Fred, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy, and a genetically modified Scooby-Doo as they navigate a post-apocalyptic wasteland filled with zombies, monstrous creatures, and shocking betrayals. From the revelation of Velma's dark secret to Fred's transformation into a chilling undead antagonist, the gang faces horrors unlike anything they've ever encountered! A must-have for fans of Hanna-Barbera's boldest reimagining's and anyone ready to see Mystery Inc. like never before. Collects Scooby Apocalypse #1-36. Thanks to ScoobyVerse for emailing me the Amazon listing!

DC's comic solicitations for April 2025 were released today by GamesRadar+. The sole comic announced is a trade paperback for Batman and Scooby-Doo Mysteries. This is odd, because a Where Are You comic should have been announced today. It's a bimonthly series, and the last comic was released in February, so it's unclear if the series was put on hiatus or possibly even cancelled. Another possibility is that they switched the monthly cycle, and the series will now be released in odd months (May, July, September, etc.) rather than even months. I'll keep an eye out and share on here if I see anything.
Even more strangely, the one Scooby comic that was announced today had a June release date, despite it being in the April comic announcements. The solicitation doesn't say specifically what comics will be included in the trade paperback, but given they all include six comics, it can be presumed that this volume includes #7-12 of the third series. Here's the description: THE BATMAN AND SCOOBY-DOO MYSTERIES VOLUME 6 Written by J. TORRES, SHOLLY FISCH, AMANDA DEIBERT, IVAN COHEN, and more Art by DARIO BRIZUELA, PUSTE, and ERICH OWEN Cover by DARIO BRIZUELA $12.99 US | 128 pages | 6 5/8" x 10 3/16" | Softcover | ISBN: 978-1-79950-171-8 ON SALE 6/10/25 Because working together is a great way to handle things! Scarecrow tries to scare his way into Gotham’s hearts, but Shaggy and Scooby just can’t get any more afraid. A giant problem at the Finger Memorial Museum requires everyone’s bravery and smarts to conquer, and a convention appearance prevents the Bat-Family from appearing at the Wayne Foundation’s Heroes Gala, so Mystery Inc. fills in! Villains take over local garages, the library, and the opera house…but teaming up saves the day every time. GamesRadar+ has just published DC's comic lineup for February 2025. It looks like that includes one Scooby comic, and confirms that the third series of Batman and Scooby-Doo Mysteries will publish its final issue next month. Based on the name on the desk, looks like the villain might be a distant relative of Don Knotts? haha
SCOOBY-DOO, WHERE ARE YOU #132 Written by SHOLLY FISCH Art and cover by RANDY ELLIOTT $2.99 US | 32 pages ON SALE 2/5/25 Mystery Inc. never expected that when they went to investigate a haunted courtroom, they’d wind up prosecuted by a ghostly judge. Unless they can unmask the gavel-wielding ghost and clear their names, they might just get sent up the river…Styx! While there are no other comics being released in February, an alternate cover for Multiversus #6 (released on November 27) was posted on Dan Mora Chaves's Instagram. (Thanks to Juan for bringing the post to my attention!) Check out the cover below: DC's comic solicitations for January 2025 were released today by GamesRadar+, and oddly, there are no Scooby comics slated to be released that month. This doesn't mean anything for the Where Are You comics, as they are released every other month, but Batman and Scooby-Doo Mysteries is oddly missing from the solicitations. Back this January, it was announced that the series would become ongoing in 2024, but it appears the announcement may have meant that it was ongoing for only 2024. I will be sure to share more details on here if anything else is announced.
Despite this, we did get a solicitation for a 144-page trade paperback comic releasing in March that will collect all of the Multiversus comics (which feature Scooby and Shaggy).
