Just want to wish everyone a very happy and Scooby-filled Halloween! Post a comment if you plan to do anything Scooby related for Halloween!
I'm planning to try to watch a few Scooby-Doo movies and episodes the day of Halloween.

Since it's Halloween in 2 days, this week's fact of the week is Halloween themed. "A Halloween Hassle at Dracula's Castle" has not been shown at all in the US on any network since Sunday, October 2, 2011 on Boomerang.
If you're like me, and you want your Halloween festivities to include something Scooby-related this year, here's a full guide to what Scooby episodes and movies are airing on the week of Halloween:

Another interesting fact that I saw the other day:
If you order Scooby-Doo! Music of the Vampire from Amazon.com, it will give you a fake description of the movie (the description says that the movie's about Daphne in a vampire movie). The description has been fake for 3 years, and has never been changed despite many complaints from Amazon customers. http://www.amazon.com/Scooby-Music-Vampire-Frank-Welker/dp/B006GQQL50 The Amazon description is: "When Daphne becomes the star of a vampire film, the production is thrown into chaos by a real vampire, forcing the Scooby-Doo team to investigate who's behind this monstrous mayhem." Send fun facts to me at [email protected] for a chance to have your fact featured on the site! I'm going to start something fun and new on the site called "Fun Fact of the Week." Every week, I'm going to post a new little known fact about something Scooby related. If you have a fun fact you'd like to see featured, please contact me at: [email protected].
This week's fact is: On the Scooby-Doo Abracadabra Doo official movie site (created by WB), Scooby's name is spelled "Scoody" nearly every time Scooby is mentioned. Cartoon Network announced yesterday that Scooby-Doo Adventures: The Mystery Map would be premiering on the network on Saturday, October 11 at 4:30PM (CST). I'm glad that they're finally playing some Scooby on Cartoon Network now, but I wish they would air "FrankenCreepy" instead (although that may not ever happen due to the "fat-shaming" controversy surrounding the movie).
UPDATE: A rerun of the movie will air Sunday, October 12 at 2:30PM (CST) on Cartoon Network. |
