Since the beginning of time, an epic battle has waged between humans and ghostly forces of evil, and only the spell of a powerful canine warrior can keep the spirits at bay. When the spell begins to weaken, S.C.O.O.B. – an elite group of heroes comprised of the most beloved Hanna-Barbera characters – recruit Scooby-Doo to find the enchanted collar that is the key to stopping the impending ghost attack. Together with his new group of allies and the original Mystery Inc. gang, Scooby-Doo embarks on the ultimate adventure to save man (and dog) kind! Alan Reed, the original voice actor of Fred Flintstone, recorded his last lines as Fred in the very first episode of Scooby's All Star Laff-a-Lympics. After his passing, Henry Corden took over the role and recorded his first lines as Fred in the tenth episode ("India and Israel") of Laff-a-Lympics.
On the "Scooby-Doo! 13 Spooky Tales Around the World DVD," "Jeepers, It's the Jaguaro!" was originally listed incorrectly as "The Jaguaro" in the press release. When WB created the back cover, the original mistake in the press release was fixed, but another typo was accidentally created on the back cover. The title is listed as "Jeepers, It's the Jaguro!"
President of the United States Ronald Reagan was in the "It's A Wonderful Scoob" (although he was not voiced by himself) episode of The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo. The jar of jellybeans on his desk to the left of the microphones is intended to be a reference to Reagan's love of jellybeans.
