Scooby was deemed "too scary" to watch for kids in 1968 by Fred Silverman (the head of CBS), so the original concept of the show was given an overhaul.

MoviesUnlimited.com has given us some new info on the set:

It will include "A Clue for Scooby-Doo," "The Creepy Case of Old Iron Face,"  "A Creepy Tangle in the Bermuda Triangle," "She Sees Sea Monsters by the Seashore," and a new special entitled "Scooby-Doo & the Beach Beastie." 

This still leaves eight episodes unannounced. More info to come soon.

Tons of new info has been released on the new Scooby-Doo LEGO sets today! 

First, the date has been set back from late spring to August 2015.

CA (January 23, 2015) – The LEGO Group today announced its partnership with Warner Bros.
Consumer Products to develop a collection of LEGO® building sets inspired by the timeless and beloved
animated franchise, Scooby-Doo™. Five new building sets will bring the zaniness of classic characters
including Shaggy, Scooby and the entire gang to life in LEGO form for the first time ever, and are
scheduled to hit store shelves in August.
In another first, the Scooby Gang will be animated in LEGO form. In 2015, fans can look forward to a 22-
minute LEGO special, featuring Scooby-Doo, and produced in partnership with Warner Bros. Animation.
In addition, Warner Bros. Animation will also be producing made-for-video movie titles, which will be
released by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment in the coming years.

There has been some more info released for the upcoming Scooby-Doo LEGO sets!:
  • They will be released in late spring of this year
  • According to Internet rumor, there will be a movie based upon the Scooby-Doo LEGOs. This isn't confirmed yet, but stay tuned for more updates!
