Scooby-Doo was going to be cancelled due to low ratings in 1978, which is why they added the new character of Scrappy in 1979 (to keep the show going).

If you could create a Scooby-Doo: 13 Spooky Tales DVD, what episodes would be on it (limit of 13)?
 13 Spooky Tales: Surf's Up Scooby-Doo! was announced for a May 5th release today by Amazon. Not much is currently known about the DVD, other than that it will possibly include a new special called "Scooby-Doo! Beach Beastie."
 The comic comes out in stores today!
Official Press Release: When Scooby and the gang head down to Georgia to investigate a haunting in a stately Southern mansion, their investigation is interrupted by a ghost-hunting reality show created to solve the same case! Can the gang find a way to work around the TV crew and solve the mystery? Or will both teams be overwhelmed by the terror of the Lady in Pink? Shaggy and Scooby have only been full 3 times in the full 45 year run of the series, once in FrankenCreepy when they had acupuncture needles in their pants, the second time in "The Haunted Candy Factory," after they ate too much in Cass Elliott's candy factory and finally in "The Gruesome Game of the Gator Ghoul" because they consumed too much Finokee Fizz.

Since we got the first clip from Be Cool this week, I thought I'd ask what are the elements that make a good Scooby-Doo show? A few weeks ago, I said that starting in 2015 that I would be making a lot of updates to the site. I've already started work on a few updates, and I've got a lot of updates planned for this month on the site. Here are some of the ones that you will see in the next few months:

In the far-flung future, everyday people like the Jetsons don’t like to believe in superstition. But people are people – and they flip their jetpacks to overdrive to flee from the unexpected appearance of the Space-Age Spectre!
