In "The Secret of Shark Island" from The New Scooby-Doo Movies, there is a scene in which Shaggy and Scooby reference going on a dumbwaiter, except the audience never sees it. I had personally always wondered if perhaps it was just a deleted scene, but we have some surprising news today reveals that it was not. After over 50 years of being lost, a missing scene from the episode featuring Shaggy and Scooby using the dumbwaiter has been posted online. This clip was posted on YouTube by Chorake from the ScoobyAddicts forum, who is the same person that found the missing scene featuring Batman's speech on counterfeiting from "The Dynamic Scooby-Doo Affair" back in May 2020. You can check it out in the YouTube video above. An advertisement for "The Secret of Shark Island" from a 1970s airing was also posted, which you can check out below. Interestingly, the advertisement refers to it as "The Secret of Hark Island," but it's unclear if this is a typo or not.

Following the release of the Superstars 10 and Zombie Island Blu-Rays, two more fan favorite films are going to be released on Blu-Ray! On July 30, Witch's Ghost and Alien Invaders will be released together on Blu-Ray. The set was announced by Warner Archive on their Facebook page today.
Here's the full press release: SCOOBY-DOO AND THE WITCH’S GHOST/SCOOBY-DOO AND THE ALIEN INVADERS (1999/2000) (Double Feature) BD-50 COLOR 16x9 1.33 DTS HD MA 5.1 Surround English SDH Running times: Scooby-Doo and the Witch’s Ghost-66 Minutes Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders-74 Minutes Special features: Making-of featurettes, promotional trailers The world's most lovable mystery-solving dog, along with best friend Shaggy and the rest of the gang, bring on the laughs and adventures on this double-feature Blu-ray™ release! In Scooby-Doo and The Witch's Ghost, Scooby, Shaggy and co. get tied up with bumbling mummies and monster turkeys when famous fright-writer, Ben Ravencroft, invites the gang to his hometown for the Autumn Harvest Festival. There, they learn that Ben's ancestor, Sarah, haunts the place, and they set out to uncover the ghostly Ravencroft secret that will prove her either a good-hearted healer or a spell-casting witch. In Scooby-Doo and The Alien Invaders, Scooby, Shaggy and the Mystery, Inc. are stranded in a desert town where they soon discover a plethora of flying saucer buffs, secretive scientists and less-than-friendly extraterrestrials! But after aliens chase and beam them aboard a UFO, clues to the mystery of the alien invaders lead the gang from a top-secret government research base to an intricate network of caves hidden under the town, the race to crack the case redefines the term "far out" in this hilarious space-capade. Dedicated Scooby fans can now rejoice having these two fan favorite features on this new release, both for the first time on Blu-ray™. Perhaps one of the infamous type of Scooby-Doo villains are sheet ghosts, particularly the ones in "Hassle in the Castle" and "Haunted House Hang-Up." Contrary to what you might think about sheet ghosts merely being a budget-effective way to depict a ghost, there is actually some lore behind why ghosts are depicted as wearing sheets over their heads according to KQED. Until the 19th century, the dead were often wrapped in a sheet by their family and buried as memorials, rather than being put in coffins. In addition, in those days, people who believed they had a supernatural sighting would often report sheets floating by themselves.
Happy Memorial Day weekend for those of you in the US! Hope you all those who have the day off are enjoying the long weekend. The results for last week's wedding poll were very close, but one option just edged out the other one.
Wedding Bell Boos - 27 The Wedding Witch of Wainsly Hall! - 25 I Scooby Dooby Do - 10 Til Death - 4 A Spooky Little Ghoul Like You - 1 In the original script for "The Curse of Kaniaku" from Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!, instead of being happy about going viral in the Japanese media, head writer Jon Colton Barry shared that the plot was supposed to be the opposite. Originally, Daphne was against the attention she was receiving, because she felt it took away from her uniqueness having everybody else be like her.
A number of new Scooby-Doo merch has been announced to be coming this June from LoungeFly. The merch includes a Mystery Machine hoodie and three backpacks: "Crossbuddies Bag" ($76.99), "Munchies Backpack" (both in mini, $91.99 and full-size, $55.99, and yes, the mini is more than the full-size for some reason) and "Scooby Snacks Treat Bag" ($23.99). For some reason, the Mystery Machine hoodie is listed as $1,000, but this is likely not the right price. All items are available for pre-order on the LoungeFly site. A UK site, GetReadyComics, also lists a few additional items, including t-shirts, pins, a dog treat bag, a lead, harness, and collar. However, they are not yet available on the LoungeFly site. There are quite a few pictures of the various pieces of merch on GetReadyComics, which you can view on their site.
Thanks to Mr. Neither for this info! You can see pictures of the other backpacks below (the "Crossbuddies Bag" image is not available. Thanks Shadowscooby for suggesting this week's poll idea. Considering I'm at a friend's wedding this weekend, it seems like the perfect weekend to do this poll lol. For anybody who doesn't recognize the fifth option, it's the season 2 finale of Velma which is a wedding episode.

Following a string of successfully solved mysteries, it’s time to celebrate, and Fred is treating the gang to dinner at his favorite local hangout! But Fred’s childhood haunt isn’t quite what he remembers—the pizza parlor has gone through a complete renovation. Gone are all the fun things Fred fondly remembered: the ball pit, ticket games, and especially the animal mascots in the band… until one of those angry animatronic performers comes to life! Agent 2 is given two different names throughout Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue. In "Super Scary Movie Night," he is named Jeff, after Jeff Bennett who is the voice actor for both him and Dr. Phibes. However, one episode prior in "There's a Doctor in the House," he is named Zachary. Since both names only were used once, it is unclear what Agent 2's actual name is.
To keep the scope of this poll manageable, I'm only including villains that were presented as robots the entire episode. Villains that were unmasked as robots at the end of the episode are not included.
