Ten feature-length telefilms starring all-time favorite Hanna-Barbera characters, including Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Scooby-Doo and more! Agreed, I thought it was neat they chose to put Scooby Goes Hollywood on here!

They are put on there because those two films were done in digital coloring, which makes it nearly impossible to remaster. So I think it’s them trying to make up the fact that it will be 480p quality on a blu ray disc. And so the blu ray disc will be worth it, throwing in a shorter segment that’s in 1080p 1/19/2024 09:04:21 am
Ah, that would make sense. I'm glad they're giving Scooby Goes Hollywood a release despite the lower quality.

It's strange they didn't make a DVD set too, but oh well. I don't own a Blu-Ray player so I won't be getting this, but still happy they made this set as I know a ton of people have wanted these films on Blu-Ray for years now.

Yea the 3 scooby films are cool but I also like the top cat film, flintstones meet the jetsons, and the spruce goose I remember enjoying, so it's probably worth it. If it had "the man called flintstone" would probably be a day 1 purchase for me. 1/20/2024 10:39:41 am
I love The Man Called Flintstone! Such a great movie. I remember watching all of the Yogi movies in childhood and enjoyed them, although I haven't returned to them in adulthood. Flintstones Meet the Jetsons and Rockin' with Judy Jetson were also great. Never saw the Huckleberry Hound or Top Cat films.

I might pick this up myself. Honestly, I appreciate seeing them double down on older content in physical media rather than quitting releasing it altogether and sticking with streaming, even if these have all been released before. I honestly was beginning to wonder if the only dvd releases would be new DTVs (if those even will happen anymore) so glad that isn’t necessarily true. Crossing my fingers for Scooby Doo Show season 2 and the New Scooby and Scrappy Doo Show/New Scooby Doo Mysteries… eventually

I hadn't thought about it before, but when I was adding it to the List of the Releases page here on the site, I was really surprised to notice it was actually our first compilation release since 2019's 50th Anniversary Collection. While I love the convenience of streaming, there's something so much more satisfying about owning something physically, so I hope they continue to put out sets like this (both DVDs and Blu-Rays) in the years to come, especially if it means we get more unreleased episodes like those you mentioned.

Update: I did end up picking the set up, not gotten around to watching any though, midterms and I am in grad school. For those interested, it's a very nice set, 2 cases in a cardboard sleeve with 5 discs each, each disc has artwork for the movie.

That's cool to know! For me personally, I don't plan on picking up the set as I don't own a Blu-Ray player, but I'm glad they made a good quality set. Good luck with your grad school midterms, btw!
