**Spoiler warning: This fun fact contains spoilers for the Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! episode "Night of the Upsetting Shorts"**
We have another Be Cool fun fact to go along with the conclusion our Daphne Quirk polls! At the beginning of "Night of the Upsetting Shorts," the Ape Man is watching the gang seconds after they walk into the nursing home with Grammy and her friends. This leaves a large plot hole in the episode, as Grammy is the culprit, and could not have been watching the gang as the Ape Man while she was still with them.

I was actually just wondering the other day when they were going to come out with more episodes! They'd announced another season, but no new episodes have aired since 2022. Between this and a documentary I want to see, I may have to resubscribe to HBO Max next month. Thanks so much for this info!

I thought about that too... but I only brushed it off as being just a weird coincidence.

It was probably one of the animators just making a mistake. They did something similar with Scooby Snacks in "All Paws on Deck," despite that they hadn't been introduced until "Sorcerer Snacks Scare."

I don't know if this is something you could post here, but most of the Scooby-Doo/Courage Scare-A-Thon has been uploaded to Youtube!

The budget was low and the most "dynamic" animations were used in short promos (Scooby and Courage scratching the door and them being scared by Eustace).

I'd need to dig it up again, but I'm 99% sure I did a post on the Scare-Thon either when the Courage/Scooby movie was first announced, or around the time of its release. I'd seen most of these before, but there were a few new bits I hadn't seen.

When I first heard the plot and bases for this particular Be Cool episode, I originally thought that the villain was gonna be heavily inspired by the legendary Florida Skunk-Ape instead the Ape-Man that we ended up with getting in the episode itself.

The Skunk-Ape is like a relative of BigFoot. It is said to lurk in florida swamps and it gives off a really really really bad smell. Leave a Reply. |
