With all the uncertainty lately around Scooby films and shows potentially being cancelled, it seems timely to do a poll asking which upcoming project people are most looking forward to seeing. Holiday Haunt is already cancelled, and Velma seems to probably have been cancelled with Wednesday's news of the trademark being abandoned, but I wanted to also include the other three possibly upcoming projects that we know about, since it's possible they might be cancelled too. If that happens, somebody needs to create some sort of parody Scooby movie in which David Zaslav is behind the mask lol. Thanks to Mr. Neither for suggesting this poll idea!
Our actual best baseball episode poll saw quite different results than the "worst baseball episode poll." "The Unnatural" won last week's poll by a huge margin with 33 votes, making it to the Winner's Circle re-do for the sports polls which will be coming soon! "Grand Scam" was in second place with 10 votes, and "The Demon of the Dugout" was in third place with 7 votes. Surprisingly, the joke option ("All the baseball episodes are awful, baseball in general is awful, in fact, all sports are just plain awful") placed above the remaining two episodes, coming in fourth place with five votes. "The 7th Inning Scare!" barely escaped last place with three votes, whilst "Scooby Pinch Hits" came in last, receiving only two votes.

Trick or Treat for me. Not because it's the one thing that's seemingly not cancelled based on everything we've heard/seen, but because the plot description(s) we've gotten actually sound pretty interesting, entertaining and wacky. The synopsis got me intrigued.

If it's real, the plot description for Trick or Treat sounded really interesting!

Holiday Haunt for me, I just really don't get all the people who hated the first one, I thought it really rather fun, not traditionally what a scooby movie is for but I did love the call backs to the lore of an HB universe...(also I don't think any theatrical film has really done a decent mystery in decades with the exception of knives out, so I don't mind them taking it in a different direction)

That's my vote as well! I loved the original SCOOB and wish that more people liked it. It's not perfect, but it's a lot of fun for what it is and I really enjoyed it. It's a shame that Holiday Haunt will most likely never see the light of day.

I'm still holding out hope someone will leak it like that popeye animatic version and the Fantastic Four movie in the 90s. For both this AND batgirl cause I love Brendan Fraser

It’s Scooby-Doo and Krypto-Too! for me but I feel like that movie will eventually be cancelled. But as of right now I’m really excited about that crossover and I’m also really excited about Trick or Treat, Scooby-Doo!

I was interested to see what this movie was going to be about, but yeah, I'm thinking it will be cancelled too. The bad thing is that I imagine if it is cancelled, they won't ever say that publicly, since they didn't announce it publicly in the first place. The only reason it's known is because of Annie de Brock's resumé I found, and it seems WB quickly had her take that down when I posted about it.

I guess Trick or Treat because the plot sounds really interesting and it’s releasing in two months.

I went for Holiday Haunt. Although the first was mediocre to fair and spoilt by Covid destroying its release schedule, I was really looking forward to another Scooby Christmas film.

I was really excited for the first Scooby Christmas film too! And yeah, I feel bad that SCOOB's release was messed up by COVID so much. The film easily would have been a lot more successful if not for the pandemic.

I refused to support it after the mess up and looking to release months later outside States. I even remember someone posting an illegal link to the movie in reply to one of the movie's own posts 8/16/2022 11:48:55 am
I've said it before but WB does such a poor job with the rollout of these unique projects (i.e. SCOOB!, Where Are You Now, etc.) outside of the US. It's really unfair to you all that WB just kinda drops the ball on them and doesn't release stuff when it doesn't fit on the normal Boomerang channel or DVD. I'm still honestly not even sure if Where Are You Now was ever released in other countries outside of the US. I wish WB would come up with a better strategy for releasing these more unique projects internationally.

I choose Velma because I like that it could do something radically different without playing it safe whatsoever.

"Truck or Treat" would be an interesting film lol. I'll be interested to see how many votes Velma ends up getting. I typically have a guess as to what option is going to win, and I have no idea with this poll (although I don't think it will be Velma). I agree with you that Mystery Pups could be great if it were done right.

Velma because she’s my favorite member of the gang if it wasn’t obvious enough lol

I went Holiday Haunt, but they are all on about the same level of “Let’s see how this one goes”. It’s not like I am devastated at not getting to see any of them on a basis level (though I was excited to give them chances), but my far bigger concern is based on the big picture

Same for me. We didn't really know a lot about any of the projects, though I would say from what had been announced, we had the best idea of what Scoob! Holiday Haunt would be like. I'm definitely more concerned about the future of the franchise as well.

I’m actually looking forward to ALL of these! I hope there’s a way for SCOOB Holiday Haunt to be saved sometime in the future. The Krypto crossover seems interesting too, but I hope they have an interesting fun version of Krypto, kinda like like how he was in his cartoon series. I really want to hear more about Trick or Treat! And regardless the age group for Mystery Pups, I’m still gonna watch the first episode of it. And if I like it, then I’ll have my little nephew watch and I’ll introduce him to Scooby with that. And I really want to see Velma to see how it is!

I'm looking forward to all of them too! I'm hoping there's a way for SCOOB! Holiday Haunt to be saved as well, maybe for when WB is doing financially better. I've never seen the Krypto series, but nonetheless, I am excited for it! I'm definitely going to watch the first episode of Mystery Pups even if it's super kiddy.
