Today is Scooby-Doo Day at Yankee Stadium, in which they are giving away a free Scooby bobblehead to the first 10,000 guests 14 and under (more details can be read about that here). Given this, I thought it might be fun to have today's poll be baseball-themed. Thanks so much to Shadowscooby for suggesting this idea! I was originally going to ask what the best baseball episode was, but given Mr. Samuel Kirkwood felt that it would be a bit too predictable (and was able to accurately predict the question weeks before I asked it), I decided to switch it up a little bit. As I know some people just hate sports in general, hopefully the last option will be extreme enough haha.
Here are the results from our poll last week about what the best year in Scooby-Doo history is! In your opinion, what is the best year in Scooby-Doo history? 1969 - 18 2010 - 16 1998 - 9 2002 - 9 2021 - 8 1999 - 5 1970 - 3 1976 - 3 2005 - 3 2015 - 3 1972 - 2 1985 - 2 1977 - 1 1978 - 1 1994 - 1 2001 - 1 2006 - 1 2009 - 1 2013 - 1 2019 - 1 0 votes: 1971, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982,1983, 1984, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2000, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020

I actually enjoy all baseball episodes even thought I’m not really a baseball fan.

Same here. I'm not a sports fan, and I definitely could never watch a baseball game on TV, but I feel like the sports episodes are usually still just as entertaining as any other episode.

About baseball it’s fun to play but boring to watch.

If I wore to pick the worst one it would be Scooby Pinch Hits just for how short it was. If it was longer it could’ve been better.

That was my pick for worst as well. There wasn't much time for a plot to develop and the villain was just mediocre.

That last option is quite interesting lol.

Haha, yeah, it's not unwatchable by any means, it's just kind of a mediocre episode. I would say those are my two favorite baseball episodes as well. I do like "The 7th Inning Scare!" as well though just because of the ridiculous motive.

I say The Unnatural is the number 1 baseball episode.

I am not much of a sports fan in general but Grand Scam seemed to have the lowest number of redeemable qualities.

Interesting, I'd say that was one of my favorites of the baseball episodes. Out of curiosity, do you not like Be Cool in general, or was there just something about this specific episode you didn't care for?

That's probably my second least favorite. It's not a bad episode and the villain has a cool design (even if his voice is a little bit lame), but the plot was mediocre and there was nothing particularly appealing about it to me.

"The Unnatural", it's a no-brainer for me. The villain was scary and the episode was somewhat dark at some point. "Grand Scam" would be my second favorite.

"The Unnatural" is my fave as well! I think you may have misread the question though, as it's asking what people's least favorite episode baseball episode is.

Oh dang, I did misread it! I'll have to go with "Scooby Pinch Hits" as well.

Would have gone for last one but only all American sports are awful.

Ha! I'll admit I wrote that option with you in mind, though I will be very curious to see if anyone else votes for it lol.

Lol, just finished outta Nowhere, easily one of the best Scooby Doo films of the past decade in my eyes, completely bonkers. So Scooby Doo. 9/19/2021 05:59:18 pm
Agreed! So glad to hear you and your brother enjoyed it so much :)

I do not specifically have any major problems with Be Cool in general besides how repetitive it can be. My problem with the episode was how large the focus was on baseball and how few good gags were inspired by this setup.

That's a fair criticism. It didn't bother me overly much, though I guess this episode was towards the bottom of my overall series rankings (mainly because I feel like the episodes got a bit better as the series went on, though I greatly enjoyed the vast majority of the episodes).

I misread the question so I put in two votes, one for the Unnatural and one for Scooby’s Pinch Hits. The Unnatural was my pick for best one, so that vote can be disregarded/deleted

I'm gonna have to rewatch them. I can't choose! But I know I liked Grand Scam because I just love Be Cool Scooby Doo

Not to complain but...this qustion does not sound very friendly.

I was just being silly with the question because someone joked about it being too predictable to ask what people's favorite episode was.
