Last week's poll results have a somewhat surprising winner! The 1980-1989 option also notably got no votes from anyone.
Given we just finished up a decade, what is your favorite decade of Scooby so far? 1. 2010-2019: 19 2. 1970-1979: 17 3. 2000-2009: 12 4. 1990-1999: 8 5. 1969: 7 6. 1980-1989: 0

How on Earth did 2010s come ahead of 1970s and win is beyond me.

I was shocked by that too. I'm thinking people picked it because of SDMI and/or BCSD and just ignored all the less than great stuff (or maybe they even liked it).

Okay, that was a surprise, probably the 2nd worse decade won. None of the first 4 of this poll really stand out for me. You know what, I'm going to go for the last one, when I saw that episode for the 1st time last year it really stood out to me and was one of the best of Get a Clue in my eyes.

That's interesting! I agree it's one of the best of Get A Clue, though "A Halloween Hassle at Dracula's Castle" has always stood out to me as one of the best Halloween specials the franchise has.

Not gonna lie I can get behind it, it may have been a rocky path but it had a hell of a lot of content more than possibly any decade before so we've been more completely served than by prior eras. MI and BC both existed as do... a comfortable amount of movies that will enter regular rotation with me, Daphne and Velma, Gourmet Ghost, Scooby doo and Batman BatB. I'd say the good far outweighed the bad, and not to mention we still have all the content from before to peruse, it is a good time to be a scooby fan, until WB or the fandom ruins it.

I think we had a lot of good content in this decade, though there was a lot of poor stuff at the end of the decade that makes it especially stick out as bad to a lot of fans. The first part of the decade with SDMI/BCSD and some of the films were excellent, IMO.

Wow I’m actually shocked that 2010-2019 came in first! I mean I did vote for it thanks to Mystery Incorporated, Be Cool, and the onslaught of so many amazing movies throughout the decade... but I honestly thought the 70’s would come out on top.

I was shocked too! I thought for sure the 70s would win! It's my favorite Halloween Scooby as well, though I agree with the dislike for Marla. She did say things overdramatically, and she didn't need to. But yeah Scooby with the sheet and flower pot costume made up for it 100% haha.

Im glad 2010s won. I think it was the best decade in terms of content; the series, the films, as well as all the incredible toys and merch and it had some great dvd releases too.

That's an interesting point. Yeah that's true that the nature of cartoons have changed a lot since then. You rarely ever see things like animation errors nowdays, and in general, most cartoons today are much more fast-paced and action-packed then they were back in the 20th century (look at some of the Yogi Bear cartoons. Basically the whole cartoon is Yogi tricking the ranger, then he runs from the ranger, and that's the whole cartoon) That would bore children to death today. Interesting thought!

As I've mentioned in previous comments on this post, I'd pick A Halloween Hassle at Dracula's Castle, though that's purely because of the way the question is phrased. I like what we see in that episode in particular just due to the classic spooky feel of the Universal monsters being pulled off well, but Ghoul School will always be my favorite movie and Reluctant Werewolf is right up there too.

I think part of the reason why the 2010s won is that there were a lot of home media releases of the classic material (IIRC). So you still had all the great stuff from the past, now viewable whenever you want, and a bunch of great new stuff as well.

That's a good point and I didn't think about that! I think people are thinking of the 1980s as a Scrappy dominated decade, or moreover, that they were all like the Richie Rich Hour when in reality many of the later episodes were pretty decent (though there are even some that love the Richie Rich Hour).
