Scooby Dumb all the way. He was funny and goofy. I liked how he wanted to find clues and be a detective. It’s unfortunate that he made only four appearances in the Scooby doo show. I would like to see him again in future Scooby projects. 3/14/2021 12:46:51 pm

same my mom loves scooby dum as well i do too for the most part the best parts of his character besides him wanting to be a dective were his laugh and every time someone would say the word clue

I have to go with Scooby Dum. I feel like be would be pretty annoying if he showed up every episode or something but the episodes he did show up in were REALLY good (particularly Vampire Bats and Headless Horseman) and he played a role in those episodes being as good as they are

I kind of agree it would be too much if he was in like every episode. Him just showing up in the occasional episode was perfect!

Whoopsy Doo would’ve been my second actually. Whoopsy and Gaggy Rogers really make an already amazing episode even better with their stupid jokes and such

I liked Whoopsy Doo and Gaggy Rogers a lot too, though I know there are some people that don't (namely the hosts of Scooby Dos or Scooby Don'ts, they have a whole rant in their episode about how much they hate those characters).

Seems like Scooby-Dum is the clear winner here, at least out of us commenters. Not that surprising when he is the only relative aside from Scrappy, who is very polarizing to say the least.

Scooby-Dum! I've always had a soft spot for him. I loved his 4 appearances in TSDS, and I've been hoping for a long time for him to guest in an episode or movie, after over 40 years of absence.

I feel like they could've made a Guess Who episode where the guest stars were the Doo family, including Dum, Scrappy etc. It was a great opportunity that they wasted. After all, they did one for another group of recurring characters exclusive to this franchise, the Hex Girls, so why not this one?

I’m overall pretty neutral on Scrappy. I lean feeling negatively for the first few seasons and I lean feeling positively from New Scooby and Scrappy Show and on

I don't hate him in '79-'82, but he gets annoying after a while. And yeah, starting with TNS&SDS, he isn't annoying anymore.

I don't hate him early either. I don't feel super negatively or positively strongly about him in either half of his tenure, but it is kinda negative in the first half and decently positive in the second half 3/15/2021 09:10:52 am

mystery inc also did an epsdoie about the hex girls same with whats new scooby doo in witch at the end of that exact epsoide they sung the theme to the show as well

Scrappy gets a lot of hate. They creators thought it was a bad idea and made him a villain in the 2002 movie. He is then seen and mentioned through other Scooby stuff but there are negative things about him. I honestly didn’t think he was bad at all. I always thought is was funny when he went after the monster to be pulled back from Scooby or shaggy.

Yeah, the "haha Scrappy sucks!" jokes are getting really old really fast. Let's hope someday the creators realize this.
