I place my vote for Scooby doo 2 Monsters Unleashed. That movie blew me away. It was awesome to see the real versions of the Scooby doo monsters. All of the were cool but the one that was the coolest to me was the black knight ghost. The evil masked figure was a pretty awesome villain. I liked how his eyes changed colors. It was also cool seeing the people they unmasked before in the villains bar. I really liked how this love portrayed the gang as working as a team and stick it together.

I'm sure I'm the only one who thinks this, but my favorite was Daphne & Velma. I felt like that movie had such a feel-good plot and was super well-written. My rankings are as follows:

I agree that Daphne & Velma is probably better, but Scooby Doo 2 has kinda become a feel good movie to me, put it on and just kinda enjoy all the call backs...and ignore the fart jokes...

Ugh, yeah, I hate the fart and bodily function jokes in Scooby-Doo 2! That was the worst part of the movie.

For Daphne and Velma I thought the plot was good And original and I liked the actresses that they picked to play Daphne and Velma. However, without Fred, Shaggy and Scooby doo was just weird. Like how can any Scooby doo production not have Scooby in it. He’s the main character of the franchise.

It's a fair criticism, I honestly just really liked that movie haha.

I haven't seen either SCOOB or Daphne and Velma, so I think I will choose either Scooby Doo or Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed because both movies in my opinion are good and I do like the chase scenes in both including the final battle with the MxPx version of the Scooby Doo, Where Are You theme song.

Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed. I have nostalgia for it, but I do think it's a fun ride and a good time, unlike Scooby-Doo 2002 and all the other live action movies honestly. Scoob! is good, not as bad as many make it out to be, but I'd watch Scooby Doo 2 over it.

It was really tough for me to decide between where to place SCOOB! and Scooby-Doo 2, because I feel like they're both on the same level of good but in different ways. And yeah, it's unfortunate all the hate SCOOB! gets. I really liked it!

I have to go with nostalgia and vote monsters unleashed. The main villain was creepy and the movie in general is funny and adventurous.

Yah curse of the lake monster was a bit all over the place with the gang fighting with each other about relationships. However, I though some stuff were funny. I liked the silvery moon song especially when they did it with rock in roll and the song at the end be around with you or something was pretty interesting. I liked how it showed the ghost clown, the witch doctor and the werewolf from where are you.

I disagree I thought the relationships thing between the gang in the film was prettty cute.

It felt like they were just copying SDMI to me with the relationships thing, honestly. They were just starting to develop the Shaggy and Velma relationship in SDMI when that movie came out. I watched the movie right when it came out (the night it premiered), so it all just felt like rehash to me at the time. I'll admit I may have had a different opinion had I not first watched it while SDMI was airing.

I didn't hate Scooby-Doo (2002) either, it was a fun film. The only one I really dislike out of these six is Curse of the Lake Monster, but I don't even really hate that one and have rewatched it a few times.

I agree with you on Curse of the Lake Monster. I too didn't hate it, but it's not one I would be quick to watch again. I would always watch Mystery Begins lol. Curse of the Lake Monster somehow felt weak. Especially with the Shaggy/Velma thing, Mystery Incorporated did that already! And they really made it obvious that Velma was possessed by the witch. 11/15/2020 09:49:30 pm
I agree they made it too obvious Velma was possessed by the witch.

As much as I loved the first movie, Monsters Unleashed felt more like Scooby Doo. That's the best way I can describe it lol. Monsters Unleashed handled the Scooby Doo formula better than the first movie, especially since the first movie wasn't even supposed to be the way it was. It was supposed to have been more mature with a lot of inside jokes and meta humor, but hey decided to make it PG. Monsters Unleashed is definitely the stronger film and I totally agree with everyone when they say it's the better Scooby Doo film! 11/16/2020 09:33:59 am
I agree Monsters Unleashed felt much more like Scooby-Doo, which is why I put it above the first movie on my list. Between all the references to various Scooby stuff, all the classic villains, and the plot being more focused on the gang and how everyone fits into it, they got more to the core of what Scooby's about than the first film did.

Personally not a fan of live action movies and one of reasons why I've never watched Daphne and Velma. So on that point:

I like SCOOB! But still not the greatest Scooby Movie by far. Only won here because not a fan of the live actions as I said. 11/17/2020 10:27:14 am
That makes sense. I'm interested to see which one will win here overall - my guess is Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.

I agree with you on that one! 11/22/2020 09:08:06 am
Daphne sure was a great fighter with a black belt which reminds me something. I wish on Scoobypedia there would be a new running gag
