Ghost of Christmas never for me. I think she is the most scariest villain in the series.

Agreed she's pretty scary, though I think I'm going to pick Dracula.

The Ghost of Christmas Never for me, even though A Nutcracker Scoob and A Halloween Hassle at Dracula's Castle were the first two episodes I had on VHS and enjoyed both episodes, I like The Ghost of Christmas Never more than The Ghost of Dr. Van Helsing or Chandra the Unbelievably Remarkable (and Quite Interesting Too).

Chandra and Van Helsing were neat villains, but yeah, I agree the Ghost of Christmas Never was creepier. I did like how they used Van Helsing as the villain though. Clever given he's Dracula's enemy in lore.

This series/season actually had quite a lot of great episodes, especially all the ones with Velma and/or Fred. A Halloween Hassle at Dracula's Castle is bonkers and awesome lol. Happy Birthday, Scooby-Doo! and The Nutcracker Scoob would also be in the top 3 of this season (I usually consider The New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show and The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries as one show with 2 seasons, it really feels like they're part of the same, just like how The Scooby-Doo Show was originally kinda 3 series and later became one show with 3 seasons). The 11 minute episodes are pretty good, overall better than the ones from the previous season, which I also mostly enjoyed actually (even though the best 11 minute episode of Scooby anything is Scoobygeist). The couple of 22 minute eps from TNSSDS are also in the top 3 best of that season, along with Scoobygeist, which makes me question why they mostly did short episodes with both seasons.

I agree with every single thing you are saying in that first paragraph haha. I assume you mean "A Halloween Hassle at Dracula's Castle" is bonkers in a good way :)

Yes, bonkers in an awesome way! It's in the top 3 best of this season as I said. I think this and the previous season have a very good balance of real and fake monsters, going back to the ingredients for a perfect show. It's mostly fake monsters with a few real ones from time to time. 9/6/2020 09:55:32 am
I definitely agree! It's sad how these two shows often get lumped in with the 7-minute shorts quality-wise, because there was a great balance of real and fake monsters and there were some really fun episodes in here. Leave a Reply. |
