There is a chance more will be added to this one as well but for the time being. I won’t rank Gourmet Ghost

9. A Mystery Solving Gang Divided- Absolutely abysmal and intolerable

8. Sweet Dreams Scooby- These polls have made me think about this episode in the last couple of weeks than I ever had in my entire life, which I believe would be twice

7. Vote Velma- Big step up here. Nice episode

6. World of Witchcraft- Fantastic episode, one of my favorites of Be Cool, just some tough competition

5. Spirits of 76- Still love this one

4. To Switch a Witch- It isn’t the best witch option here, but still a highlight of season 3 of the Scooby Doo Show

3. Big Scare in the Big Easy- I could’ve very easily justified putting either 4 or 5 in the top 3 as well, but I wanted some historical variety and this is one of my favorite episodes of What’s New

2. Witch’s Ghost- My favorite selection here overall, but when it comes to a history question, well, there was only going to be one number one

1. The Loch Ness Mess- In my opinion, the quintessential historical episode of Scooby Doo

9. A Mystery Solving Gang Divided - the worst episode of the franchise IMO.

8. Sweet Dreams Scooby - don't really have anything additional to say about this one. And lol to your comment! It's funny how this popped up two weeks in a row, but I guess it makes sense given museums and history have some crossover.

7. Big Scare in the Big Easy - great episode and I wish I could put this higher, but there are a lot of great options here.

6. Vote Velma - excellent political satire here. Love this episode.

5. World of Witchcraft - one of the best of Be Cool, and I really wish I could put all of these higher. The next four are classics though IMO.

4. To Switch a Witch - completely agreed that this is a highlight of season 3. Amazing episode with an excellent villain.

3. Spirits of '76 - great episode of American history that feels darker than any of the picks here other than Witch's Ghost

2. Witch's Ghost - one of the best movies of the franchise.

1. The Loch Ness Mess - obvious choice for me. Love the beautiful New England setting, the villains, and the episode in general. This is the episode that first comes to mind when thinking about a historical Scooby episode, no question.

I forgot Gourmet Ghost, that would be between "Sweet Dreams Scooby" and "Big Scare in the Big Easy." I liked the villain and how they worked the American Revolution into it.

"A Night Louse at the White House" will go in between Gourmet Ghost and "Sweet Dreams Scooby." I like the episode a lot but it's up against so many great ones!

To Switch a Witch is my pick here. All the other episodes are good (except the Scrappy short and Guess Who shitshow), but none of them are among my favorites of their respective series (definitely an unpopular opinion). Besides those, Witch's Ghost is a great film, would probably be my second choice. And Gourmet Ghost is kind of a nothing film to me lol.

I like Gourmet Ghost quite a bit even if I wouldn't call it a favorite. All of the rest were among my favorites of the series which made it really hard to choose. Even the episode I put at #7 would have had a chance at winning if it were a weaker set.

Big Scare In The Big Easy:
I really liked this episode. It felt very SDWAY to me because of the very spooky atmosphere and tone it had. The cemetery itself was a spooky setting.

The Ghosts of Jed and Caleb Leland were great, spooky and creepy villains. Their eyes glowed red, they threw balls of wind and scared people on the bus.

Fred wants to look for clues and one of the ghost brother’s hand is on Shaggy’s shoulder then Shaggy said “Fred I think I found a clue” Fred says great what is it then Shaggy point out the ghost hand of one of the brothers is on his shoulder. That’s just like in What The Hex Is Going On when the Ghost of Elias Kingston hand is on Shaggy’s shoulder. Fred is looking for clues Shaggy has a clue for Fred, he says “groovy what is it” and Shaggy says “him”

I liked that the chase scene song is Man With The Hex from the 2002 live action movie.

Daphne getting kidnapped in this episode is a first for this series. This also made it felt like SDWAY.

Crawded Mike and his bus driver as the culprits were pretty obvious. They were doing it to make more money for their bus tours.

The ending was nice with Lorelei, Taylor and Cyrus T Buford going into business together and putting their differences aside and the gang enjoying the rest of the Mardi Gras Celebration.

The howling in the episode was spooky. The indication that it was real was pretty eerie.

This is among my favorite WNSD episodes. I really liked the creepy designs that the ghosts had in this episode. I also thought it was neat they reused "Man with the Hex" as the chase song. Yeah, the culprits were quite obvious to me as well. The ending was quite heartwarming.

Vote Velma:
I liked this episode. The opening was funny with Joe McGrath with the scissors in his hands and he get scared every time and it’s cutting the news reporters clothes, hair and microphone.

The plot is unique with Velma running for mayor and trying to stop the ghost.

The Ghost of Amos Littlefield was a creepy villain. I liked the scene when he appeared in the room where Shaggy and Scooby where making posters and he gets that pink stuff all over him.

Velma attire and haircut is based off Hillary Clinton who was a presidential candidate for the 2016 US Elections. Mayor Putnam name and design is based off Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia.

I liked that Daphne was being Velma’s campaign manager.

Violet Oberon as the culprit was obvious. I liked that she said it was just a big performance art piece. I call it me alone with meddling kids haha.

Haha Scooby I lack opposable thumbs. Vote Velma Cuz like who’s left. Vote Velma Not a ghost. Congratulations Velma your a viable candidate, The Ghost of Amos Littlefield hates you. You got the coward vote in the bag when the yellow states. Should the ghost be chasing the candidate, I demand a revote. Vote Velma Pancakes sounds like it’s her name haha. Truth is I like pancakes. Daphne trying to get Velma to mistruth haha. Velma wanted to declare martial law haha. They did a good job with the political satire in this episode.

This is another one of my favorite Be Cool episodes. I really liked the political satire in this episode! The opening was really funny to me as well haha. I loved the villain, and the plot of Velma running for mayor was so interesting! I don't think I guessed the culprit correctly the first time I saw it haha. The one-liner at the end of about Velma wanting to declare martial law is pretty funny lol. I liked Scooby saying "I lack opposable thumbs" as well haha.

World of Witchcraft:
I enjoyed this episode. I liked The Demon of Salem as a villain. It was creepy that the girl pretended to summon him and he rose up and scared her.

I liked the story of Abetha Bishop being on witch trial by William Stoughton and she summoned the Demon of Salem to attack the people of Salem. I liked that she looks just like Daphne.

Mayor Stoughton talks and acts like Ricky Ownens/ Mr. E from Mystery Incorporated haha. It was funny that he said Carl with an r to Nothhrup who said Cal.

The pie scene was funny. Mrs Baker asked Shaggy and Scooby if they want samples and they said they don’t do samples and samples are for tourists mam. She asks what’s your poison they say blueberry.

Daphne saying she’s a witch and supporting the witch trials puts her on trial haha. Shaggy and Scooby saying they use magic when eating puts them on trial haha.

Carl and Mrs. baker as the culprits were obvious. After they were caught, they blamed it on the gang and said “it’s these meddling witches they cast spells on me and my poor son and made us do it” haha.

The baby with the pitch fork haha. Thunder the goat attacking Fred haha.

I also like the message in this episode to not let history repeat itself.

Excellent Be Cool ep, and overall too. Yes the scene with the daughter summoning the Demon is so atmospheric.

This is such a good episode and it's one of my favorites from the Be Cool series. The Demon of Salem was an amazing villain! The culprits were pretty easy to guess, but I didn't mind and thought the episode had a great message. The baby with the pitchfork and Thunder were both very amusing haha.

Scooby Doo and The Gourmet Ghost:
I liked this movie. The historical aspect in this movie was done really well. The opening with Edward Delfay being attacked by The Red Ghost telling the citizens to beware and yelling it’s name out was intense.

I liked that the opening of this movie was a time lapse opening. It was a first for a Scooby Doo movie to do an opening like that. The Rocky Harbor Culinary Resort was a nice setting and really captured that historical feel.

Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis were good guest stars. There was a good balance between them and the gang. Bobby Flay being Fred’s uncle was strange. Giada being a culinary martial artist was interesting. It was nice that their own cats Nacho and Bella were included in this movie. Both cats were pretty helpful.

This movie even included another famous Chef Marcus Samuelson and his wife. They had small roles though. The backstory of Shaggy giving them a book by Giada to sign and they have beef with him for that was funny.

I liked the Red Ghost as a villain. He was a really creepy villain. His design was particularly creepy. His shushing sound was pretty spooky. Sounded like something out of a horror movie. It was funny that everyone thought someone was telling them to be quiet. When The Librarian did it, I thought that was best one.

Skip Taylor was kind of annoying. The only funny scene I liked was at the end when he appeared in the mystery machine wearing his sleeping gear and he’s making the shushing noise the Red Ghost was making.

Jeremiah Noseworthy. He’s saying that it’s No sae Worthy. He’s got a big nose. He finally accepted it as Noseworthy at the end haha.

The Sue Chef, Chef Sue she was pretty aggressive haha.

After reading the parchment, Velma reveals to Fred and Bobby Flay that Edward Deflay was in fact a traitor. Jeremiah Noseworthy was correct.

After hearing the truth, I figured the culprit was Henry Metcalf. I didn’t guess that he was also the real estate agent Bradley Blass that was a cool twist. He would either dressed up as the Red Ghost to shut down the culinary resort or buy the resort as Bradley Blass to prevent people from hearing the truth about Edward Delfay who he dedicated to writing a book about.

We actually learned that Edward Deflay was in fact a patriot and hero. He was helping George Washington to feed fake enemy intel to throw the the redcoats off. It is then revealed that he was calling out Redcoats not Red Ghost.

The ending was nice with Bobby Flay thanking the gang for saving the resort and the family name. Jeremiah Noseworthy became the new historian. Bobby Flay and Giada gave them a nice farewell.

This was a really good movie! The American Revolution is one of my favorite pieces of history, so it was cool they included that in this film and I thought they did a great job with it. I also really liked the time lapse opening that they had. I thought Bobby and Giada were great guest stars as well. They didn't feel like they overshadowed the gang too much. I agree with you it was odd that they made Bobby Flay Fred's uncle. The cats in the film were cute. The Red Ghost was a super creepy villain! The shushing sound definitely made him a lot creepier. I don't remember Skip Taylor too well but I also remember finding him a bit annoying. I also guessed the culprit, but didn't realize that he was also disguised as Bradley. It was a really cool twist that Edward Duflay was really a hero in the end. Yeah, the ending was really sweet! Overall, this was a pretty good movie!

A Mystery Solving Divided:
This episode was all over the place with the constant bickering between the two groups. However, I did thought it was pretty unique.

The Gang arguing with the Funky Phantom crew was kind of confusing to me at first because they teamed up with other meddling kids clones like Josie and The Pussycats and Speed Buggy and got along with them well.

I liked the idea of The Ghost of Abraham Lincoln appearing and trying to get the two mystery solving groups to work together instead of going back at each other. They finally decided to work together and were able to stop the Ghost Sergeant and Ghost Army.

It was funny the he changed his face on the 5 dollar bill to Fred’s face and said I’ll never tell a lie haha. It interesting to see that Mugsy was Ghost of Honest Abe all along.

I liked the Ghost Sergeant and Ghost Army as villains. I like how they yelled attack. Jeb as the culprit I guess i didn’t see that coming. I thought it be both brothers. One dresses up as the Ghost Sergeant while the other projects the Ghost Army.

I liked the Speed Buggy appeared at the end of this episode. That’s definitely a callback to NSDM.

I didn't care for this episode due to the constant bickering. I did think the villains were decent. The Ghost of Abe Lincoln was an interesting addition and I wasn't expecting The Funky Phantom to be behind the disguise. I also did not guess the culprit.
