Since it's Valentine's Day (and we've already done a love interest poll), I thought this could be a fun idea for this week. Thanks to Shadowscooby for suggesting it!

Today's the Super Bowl, and that means we also have to tally up the football episode poll results! I love that the two joke answers accounted for 22 votes this time haha.
What is your favorite Scooby-Doo football episode?
The Ghost that Sacked the Quarterback - 55

Soccer is the real football - 13
Both of the football episodes are awful, football in general is awful, in fact, all sports are just plain awful - 9
Pigskin Scooby - 4

Since people seemed to love this one and the baseball poll, I'll have to do more sports polls to break up the "which season has the best villain" polls that people have suggested (all of which are coming soon)!

I like all the WNSD holiday specials. I picked A Scooby Doo Christmas for the Christmas poll and A Scooby Doo Halloween for the Halloween poll. So I picked A Scooby Doo Valentine.

It's definitely tough to choose as they're all so good. Thank you again for suggesting this poll!

Your welcome.

None are really close to each other in my opinions of them despite the fact that I like all of them

3. A Scooby Doo Christmas: Being last here doesn’t mean it isn’t great. It just was a bit safer than the other two. This played a pretty straightforward story where the other two were a lot more unique and honestly pretty bizarre ideas, but pulled them off extremely well

2. A Scooby Doo Halloween: This is one of my favorites of the series. The added laugh track honestly made me appreciate it more like a Where Are You episodes. And there are a LOT of nice jokes in this episode

1. A Scooby Doo Valentine: This is how you pull off a gag episode. This episode is so unique and interesting, with a bunch of unexpected twists and turns. One of the 4 best of the series and one of my all timers

3. A Scooby-Doo Christmas - I'm minded to agree with you on this one. It was a great Christmas special and one of my favorites, but it didn't quite stand out in the way the other two did.

2. A Scooby-Doo Halloween - I really liked this one. The jokes were awesome and I liked that we got to meet Velma's family. The setting was excellent as well. And it's based on a town that I've visited a few times, so how can I not like it? haha

1. A Scooby-Doo Valentine - I love all the specials so it was hard to rank them, but ultimately this one comes out on top. I love how it was sort of a parody of the show and the gang being the villains was so shocking! I like the joke about Sarah Michelle Gellar too haha. It's one of my favorites of the series for how unique the plot was. I watch this episode every year around this time.

I can't believe my poll idea is now turning into a series and not sure we'll get enough for each individual sport, might just be what is the best sport themed scooby episode. As for this one, Valentines by far!

I don't think some of the sports will have enough, but I think it would be cool to do a poll at the end where all the winning options from each of the sports polls went up against each other.

Sounds great! I would love to see a cricket episode of Scooby Doo someday.

I like all 3 of them almost the same. I also voted for the valentine special because we saw more of the gang's background in coolsville etc etc

I really enjoyed how we got to learn more background about the gang in this episode too! It was fun how they worked it into the plot that the gang had been traveling for a while.

I wish Coolsville will return some day. We haven't seen it in years

Me too! It's odd they've switched over to Crystal Cove, since that was supposed to be a one-off for Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, and then somehow it became canon.

They're all great and very close for me, but I'll just slightly go with A Scooby-Doo Halloween. They're all top 10 WNSD material though.

The scenes with the gang clones in Valentine are some of the best of the show though. And JC Chasez was used brilliantly. It could change any day between Halloween and Valentine for me.

Agreed on both counts! Arguably, JC Chasez was the best utilized celebrity in What's New.

A Scooby Doo Christmas:
This was a great Christmas Special. I really like how this episode is basically a Christmas parody of the legend of Sleepy Hollow. The Headless Snowman was a great villain.

It was cute that Tommy thought the Scooby gang was Santa Claus and his reindeers. I liked that reference from The Wizard of Oz when the Headless Snowman said “melting, I’m melting oh what a world”.

The ending was very nice. Professor Higgison was the culprit but was forgiven when he was just trying to recover his family’s long lost gold. He then later decided to give the gold to the whole town after Tommy gave him a present. That was very nice of him and shows the true meaning of Christmas.

Shaggy and Scooby giving each other Scooby Snacks as presents, everyone gathering around the Christmas tree and watching the star and hearing Merry Christmas Day was a good way to end the episode.

I love this Christmas special as well. The Wizard of Oz reference was really cute. The villain's motivation, for once, was somewhat innocent even though he did cause a lot of destruction. I really like the design of the villain. The ending is so heartwarming and you'd have to be a Scrooge for it not to put you in the Christmas spirit!

A Scooby Doo Halloween:
I really liked this Halloween special. It was cool that this episode contained a laugh track, feeling like a Where Are You episode. There were references galore in this episode. Velma’s family being in this episode was nice. The Scarecrows and the Ghost of Hank Banning were great villains. Kiss being in this episode was also a nice touch. The cat was super creepy how it had red eyes and at the end of the episode when it was laughing and then disappeared.

The laugh track was indeed a nice touch. I liked that we got to meet Velma's family and the villains were excellent and quite creepy. I really enjoyed the ending as well. This was such a great Halloween special and is one of my favorites of the series.

A Scooby Doo Valentine:
This was an amazing special. The idea of the gang heading back to their hometown Coolsville was a unique plot. Seeing Fred, Shaggy and Scooby live in one house and Daphne and Velma in another house was nice.

Shaggy and Scooby meeting up with their old girlfriends Rachel and Roxanne was a nice addition to the episode. The gang being accused for kidnapping couples at Lovers Lane was unique. It was pretty interesting to see all of them to be locked up in jail.

The scene between Fred and Daphne pretending to be a couple was fun to watch and was a first for this series.

The Mystery Inc Evil Clones were pretty cool villains. They were so strong and can do mighty leaps. The Shaggy clone watching the gang from the woods was so creepy. Velma clone pretending to be the real Velma and then scaring Daphne was also creepy. It was funny how Shaggy and Scooby were doing the mirror gag with their clones.

J.C. Chasez being the culprit was shocking as this episode was the first time a celebrity guest portraying themselves was the culprit. It also cool that the Hollywood extras look like the gangs voice actors. Daphne mentioning Sarah Michelle Gellar was nice.

The ending was funny with all the teenagers trying to get J.C. And Rachel trying to protect him.

My favorite of the WNSD specials! It was really interesting how the gang were living in different houses. The villains were the star of this episode for me. It was such a cool idea to have clones of the gang be the villains. I agree it was quite surprising to see the gang locked up in jail. Neat we got to meet Shaggy and Scooby's old girlfriends. I thought it was interesting how they strongly implied Fred and Daphne maybe wanted to be a couple in this episode. Velma's clone scaring Daphne during the chase scene was indeed very creepy. I loved how they used JC Chasez in this episode. As I said in an above comment, it's arguably the best utilization of a guest star in a What's New episode. I liked the reference to Sarah Michelle Gellar haha.

I hadn't realized it was my favorite before this poll, but I agree it was the best of the holiday specials. It's one of the best What's New, Scooby-Doo? episodes in general IMO.
