It's hard to believe that this is the 100th weekly poll! These polls were something I started out doing back in September 2019 during Scooby's 50th anniversary, but then stopped after those five weeks in September. Since people seemed to enjoy them so much, I made them a regular weekly thing on site beginning last year in 2020. I really debated what question to ask for the 100th poll as I wanted to do something special. I briefly considered doing an "ultimate battle: DVD vs. Blu-ray" but didn't feel that was particularly Scooby related (if anyone wants that to be a future poll though, let me know and I can absolutely make that happen haha). I thought about a number of other options, but ultimately decided on kind of an unorthodox poll question: how old were you when you first discovered Scooby? I considered including every single age possible as a separate option, but I grouped them by sets of five so your hands don't get sore trying to scroll through hundreds of options lol. Also, if anyone picks "over 100," please share your story down in the comments haha. Here are the results for last week's poll:
What is your favorite version of the Headless Horseman in a Scooby episode? The Headless Horseman of Halloween - 59 Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King - 14 Scooby-Doo Meets the Boo Brothers - 9 LEGO Scooby-Doo: Haunted Hollywood - 6

When I was a baby I remember seeing a glimpse of Who’s Afraid of The Big Bag Werewolf, so I picked the first one. I also started getting Scooby Doo dvds at around 4 or 5years old .

That's so cool! :) I became a Scooby fan when I was 6. My parents introduced me to Scooby via some old Where Are You, The New Scooby-Doo Movies and The Scooby-Doo Show episodes they had recorded from old reruns on the USA television network.

I think I was maybe 3-4, I vaguely remember seeing What's New, Where Are You and The Scooby-Doo Show on tv around that time.

Oh wow, that's cool! The only shows I really saw as a kid is Where Are You, The New Scooby-Doo Movies, and The Scooby-Doo Show. I didn't see any of the other shows until a few years after I got into Scooby.

I don't exactly remember when I was introduced to Scooby Doo, but I do know that it was around this time period. I still remember when I was little, the Mummy of Ankha used to terrify me.

I wasn't really scared of any Where Are You villains, but I do remember being scared of Zomba as a kid! Something about her bugged-out eyes and deformed face freaked me out haha.

I think It was both Ankha's eyes being either blacked out or had the piercing white pupils that scared me more.

Ah gotcha, that totally makes sense. He was a pretty creepy villain.

I honestly can't recall when I first saw scooby so I just kinda have to assume... I have a tape from before I was 5 with scooby stuff on it but not sure when I first watched it... and it wasn't for a few years till Cartoon Network even existed (moved into my grandparents market first, so I was excited when it FINALLY FINALLY made it to mine) That's when I know I've seen it, but erred on the 0-4 cause I think I met Scooby at something when I was 3-4ish but just don't recall fully.

Interesting, so it sounds like we both first watched Scooby from recorded episodes on tapes! I don't think I ever watched Scooby on TV until a year or so after I got into it. My parents had recorded pretty much every episode of Where Are You and The Scooby-Doo Show on tape (with the exception of a couple - I think "The Ghost that Sacked the Quarterback," "To Switch a Witch" and "The Beast Is Awake in Bottomless Lake" weren't ones I saw until a few years after I first got into Scooby.

huh, fair enough odder when you consider that I grew up in the scooby dead decade (90s) and I think you're a bit younger than that, but fair enough! Mine was one tape that I've mentioned before, has a show called "Buttons and Rusty" their halloween special, the Horseman episode with Scooby Dumb, a recording of Scooby Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf off of TBS, and then random episodes, including the Chiller Diller Movie Thriller. (recently digitized the first half of this tape, need to look over it to check for errors and then I might do the back half) 10/25/2021 07:57:31 am
Oh, no, I was alive during the 90s as well haha. That's cool that you digitized your tape! I haven't done that yet with mine, but I should someday.

That's exactly when I got into Scooby too! :) And yeah, I just checked the results and one person voted "over 100 years old," and another person chose the immortal option lol.

I've thought about doing a name change, but I can't quite decide if I like the username I picked haha. Yeah, there was no doubt in my mind "The Headless Horseman of Halloween" would win by a large margin haha. That's cool you grew up with What's New! I believe I started watching that show as it aired a few years after I first got into Scooby.

I don't even remember how old I was when I first watched scooby doo but I remember that I was very little so I guess I will pick 0-4

Yeah, that's why I wanted to do the date ranges since I figured not everyone would remember their exact age. Tbh, even I can't quite remember if I was 6 or 7 when first getting into Scooby. I do remember it was around my 7th birthday, but I'm not sure if it was before or after.

I was 3 maybe 4. I watched Scooby Doo, Where are You every night on cartoon network and saw all of the Superstars 10 movies

That's really cool! I still have a lot of nostalgia around those Superstar 10 movies since they were the first Scooby movies I saw as a kid!

Well, it was definitely before Zombie Island released, so must have been between 4-5 I'd say but I went for the last option just for laughs and because someone had to!

Hahaha that makes at least two votes for that option :)

That's kind of even cooler than knowing, because that means Scooby's been a part of your life so long that you can't even remember a time when it wasn't haha.

Omg wow, so Scooby's been a part of your life almost since you were born! That's so cool! :) "A Gaggle of Galloping Ghosts" was the first Scooby episode I ever watched as a kid, btw.
