 It's just been announced that Trick or Treat, Scooby-Doo will be screened at New York Comic Con! The screening will occur on Friday, October 7, although a time has not been released yet. We will presumably know more info in the coming weeks when the schedule is released. The Hollywood Reporter shared this news; however, they oddly refer to it as "the premiere screening" despite that it will be released on digital three days before this, on October 4.
A couple of people working on the film have also posted about it on social media. Voice director Sara Jane Sherman will be working on the film according to a post she made on Twitter, and Mary J. Hoffman posted on Instagram that she worked on some designs for the film.

No, not at all. Since Scooby is focused around mysteries and the supernatural, I think Halloween is a perfect holiday to have a Scooby movie focused around, and I don't mind at all they're making two Halloween movies so close together.

Not that we didn't already have a good idea that Velma was still happening thanks to that production crew email from a week ago, might I add. But this news just adds more clear evidence that it hasn't been cancelled. 8/31/2022 09:32:39 pm
"Mustache-twirling" lol. I'm excited that Velma is still going ahead. I don't think we'd get confirmation that Krypto would be cancelled, since that was never announced in the first place. It was available on Annie de Brock's resumé for a while, but it was taken down shortly after being announced.
