Today, on his Instagram page, Tony Cervone shared another preview image of Scoob! Holiday Haunt! You can see this image above. In addition to this, about a week ago, Cervone shared an interesting tidbit about the original SCOOB! film on Instagram. Before Zac Efron had agreed to provide the voice of Fred for this film, there were negotiations underway with Glen Powell (of Top Gun: Maverick fame) to voice Fred.

I hope we get one soon! I imagine we'll get it in September if this is coming out in November or December.

How about Scooby-Doo and Krypto Too? Is that not coming out until 2023?

I'm not sure. It's weird we haven't gotten an announcement for it yet, but I have to imagine they're going to try to synchronize the timing with the Super Pets movie next month, which also features Krypto. I'm still thinking we'll get it this year, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I still think it's coming out this year too WB are usually pretty silent when it comes to the DTV Scooby doo movies until the trailer is near so i'm not really concerned about the lack of news about the krypto crossover. 6/11/2022 11:37:25 am
I feel the same way. I think we'll probably get a trailer next month to align with the Super Pets film. That's the only reason I can think of as to why we'd get our first DTV this late in the year.

Rather thank talking about the post like any normal person, I have something else to share (not because I'm rude but because I don't care too much for the Scoob movies) I hadn't actually finished rewatching "Phantom of the country music hall" but I did now and I found another error. At about 36:09 The villains are meant to be chasing Scooby and Shaggy but instead the villains exit the room twice.

Also, everything was drawn in "The new scooby doo movies" so there's bound to be some errors. Doesn't stop it from being in my top 3 Scooby series. Not 100% sure if it's better than Where are you or not. Mystery incorporated would be 3rd favourite just because of the plot.

I've noticed that error before, it's very odd. I'll add it to the list and combine it with your other fun fact that you suggested a couple days ago, thanks! Yeah, there were quite a few animation errors in this and a lot of the early series. This is definitely in my top 3 as well. I would say Where Are You edges this out, but this series is second followed by Mystery Incorporated.

I just really think the 40 minute episodes were alot of fun and adding guest stars in along with actually doing stuff to increase the runtime instead of filler. 6/11/2022 10:13:19 am
Me too! I've heard people complain about the long runtimes, but honestly I think the 40 minutes were really well-utilized for the most part. Leave a Reply. |
