 It appears there has been a leak as some images from Mystery Pups have appeared on the Internet and are now all over social media. The leak is an image of the gang's designs. I personally think they look quite good! Thanks to Scoobyverse, Scooby_News16 and JustMeJordanW for sharing this info!

I very much doubt that these pups will retain any personality traits from Fred, Velma and Daphne given the fact that characters from the Velma series had nothing to with the Scooby-Doo franchise in terms of personality. I have a sneaky suspicion Mystery Pups will be simliar to Velma sadly.

I assume Whackman meant that it's going to deviate from the traditional Scooby formula, and yeah, it definitely well. Not in the same way as Velma though, given this is for preschoolers and Velma was for mature audiences.

They do kinda look like animatronics haha, but I imagine they'll look less flat in the actual show. Yeah, I agree there's definitely some Lillard vibes in Shaggy's design.

The reason that I mentioned it is because it's one of the episodes from What's New. It was the only one where Scooby and Shaggy by themselves with Fred, Daphne, and Velma being absent. They were working at this summer camp as counselors. Working with them was this teenage girl and she was voiced by Tara Lipinski (she was a championship figure skater back in the late '90's/early 2000's). They were in charge of these 4 campers. One of them was a girl and she was voiced by Stacie Chan (Jade from Jackie Chan Adventures). There was also this guy who directed the camp and he was voiced by Fred Tatisciore. When What's New ended, Warner Bros. planned on releasing another series with the whole Mystery Inc. gang. 2/23/2023 06:45:09 am
I think it would have been cool to have gotten a "Camp Comeoniwannascareya" spin-off after What's New was over. I am one of the few fans who likes Get a Clue so I don't mind it's existence, but a series based on "Camp Comeoniwannascareya" airing afterwards would have been good too!

Yeah, this is definitely looking more and more like it will be similar to "Camp Comeoniwannascareya," although with the moose on Shaggy's shirt, it could be a combination between elements of that and Camp Scare.

I personally enjoyed "Camp Comeoniwannascareya" quite a bit, but I remember that you were not a fan of it. I honestly would not mind if it was like "Camp Comeoniwannascareya," but I like Camp Scare better in the world building/character depth/development aspect for sure.

Aww man, that's a bummer! I wish they wouldn't keep cancelling all these Scooby projects. It's also disappointing we haven't gotten news of any new DTV yet and we're already three months into the year. That means we won't get one until summer at the earliest, if we even get that. We may be shifting to a model of one DTV a year like last year.
