Despite its unfortunate cancellation on Tuesday, the score recording for Scoob! Holiday Haunt still went on! Because the stage was booked and the musicians were already paid, that the score recording session scheduled for Sunday afternoon still occurred. This news comes from Tony Cervone, who shared this on Instagram today with the caption "So what do you do when the movie is canceled, but you’ve already paid for the stage and the musicians? You record the damn score!"

Serves WB right for cancelling Holiday Haunt.

I suspect that Mystery Pups will get canceled also, the thing to bear in mind is that by summer next year HBO Max will no longer exist and that the show was oryginalny scheduled to be released in (2024) on that steaming site. However Since HBO Max will longer exist by then this makes this show impossible to still happen.

Yeah, I'm wondering what this means for the series too. I suppose they could put it on Discovery+ or whatever the new one they're creating is, but I agree that it's iffy as to whether it will be released or not.

Well I guess on the bright side at least the actual SCOOB 2 sequel is still in production and we will get to see it eventually when or if it hopefully gets a release date.

I still think it's probably the same thing as Scoob! Holiday Haunt, since Tony said "follow-up film" and not "sequel" in that article, unfortunately. I'd be happy to be wrong, though, since I'd love to see a sequel.

Just put it on Netflix. It’ll attract people and maybe in a way that shows that Netflix doesn’t need ads as some reports have said it may soon.

I think that would be great! A lot of cancelled network shows have been put on Netflix, so I don't see why they couldn't go that route with this too (not to say I think it will happen, but it's a possibility!)

At this point, WB or David Zaslav (probably both) should change their minds about cancelling the movie, because I feel like this could lead to bad consequences on their part. Not only that, but the movie was practically finished and they just let $40 million go down the drain. I'm definitely gonna show support to the entire crew that put their heart and soul into the movie. #SaveScoobHolidayHaunt

It makes me sad that the cast and crew put in all that work, and all that money was spent for nothing. I hope the film sees the light of day in some shape or form.

Speaking of music scores here is a Scooby-Doo! rap song that I made up, I hope you like it.
