Fans already frustrated with how WB has been treating Be Cool Scooby-Doo will be very disappointed with what they announced today.
Today, Variety reported that representatives from WB have announced that the upcoming theatrical film S.C.O.O.B. will not be released on September 21, 2018, and has been pushed back nearly a full two years, to May 15, 2020. No reason was provided by WB for the excessive delay in release date. It is also worth noting that WB did announce two more film release date delays ("Tag," "Godzilla vs. Kong" in addition to S.C.O.O.B., though both films were only delayed a single week. It honestly makes me wonder if something is going on behind-the-scenes at WB causing all these delays, both from Be Cool Scooby-Doo and now S.C.O.O.B.. It seems very peculiar that the other delayed films were only delayed a single week, while S.C.O.O.B. was delayed an excessive two years.

At this rate, probably the same week S.C.O.O.B. is released in theaters.

Odd, very odd. I'd say it was just some production related delay but it coninsiding with the BCSD delay makes it a bit less likely.
