In a surprise reveal on their Twitter account today, WB shared that we will be getting Happy Halloween Scooby-Doo! much earlier than we thought! Next Tuesday, September 15, the film will be released on DVD at Wal-Mart exclusively, a full three weeks before it is released everywhere else on DVD, and on digital, on October 6. Though it was not put on the graphic, Target also currently lists a September 22 date for the film's DVD.

I'm super excited too! I was surprised they waited this long to reveal it would be out at Wal-Mart so early though, like that's already next week!

Do you mean me or WildWindVampire, because if you mean me, I think I'll buy when I have enough money saved, might not be soon, but if I play my cards right, perhaps sooner than Christmas.

Only £5 in Uk! 9/8/2020 06:56:06 pm
I'd already pre-ordered it digitally off of Amazon for October 6, so I may just keep that. I don't know if I can reverse the pre-order and get my full money back, since I did it so long ago.

i think dvd is much better than digital. digital things have a date that the license expires and one day they will be removed, however the dvd you will always have if you take good care of it.although I understand that there are people who make it easier for them that way. But the DVD is in danger of extinction and I would always recommend the physical format as it is the best. and we don't want it to get lost😭 9/9/2020 11:14:38 am
I absolutely agree with you there Ruben, and typically I also prefer the physical format. I've been trying to reduce my trips out to the store for non-essential things during this strange time (one could argue Scooby is essential though haha) so I've kinda switched over to digital for most stuff just until the pandemic is over. I'm also worried about DVDs becoming extinct for digital stuff though, so I'll absolutely switch back to DVDs once this is over :)

sadly many dvd's get ruined with Disc Rot and moisture, i think this is why many people prefer to have rips from the disc itself this is known as a DVDRip. also many dvd's are region-locked luckly I own a region free bluray/DVD player.

Yeah, I've sadly had a few DVDs get worn down from so much over the years and had to replace them due to them getting worn down. This is why I own Zombie Island and Alien Invaders in the double feature version now, rather than separately like I used to have.
