Before voicing Shaggy on Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue, it's well known that Scott Menville voiced Red Herring on A Pup Named Scooby-Doo. However, this was not his only role he had in the franchise during this year. When Scott was 17, he provided the voice of Tug Roper in Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School.

I didn't realize it until last week either, when I was looking him up when doing Shaggy's voice actor rankings. I thought it was super interesting too!

He's also Wilbur in Snow Job Too Small.

I actually wasn't aware of that! That's really cool he's been with the franchise for so long! He would have been 11 at the time.

This fun fact is really cool. I just thought about this:in the episode Doo Not Disturb from Be Cool, Scooby-Doo it is never revealed where the hotel Good Son Inn is located at. So where do you think the Good Son Inn is located at?

Thank you! I assume it's in the US somewhere, and it must be somewhere cold that gets a lot of snow, so I would say maybe Minnesota?

That’s a good guess. When I was rewatching the episode today I saw that in the sign in book it said that it was October 24th and not many states have snowstorms in late October but Minnesota is one of those states that do have snowstorms in late October so your probably right with your guess. 6/21/2022 06:37:22 pm
I actually didn't notice the date in the guest book! Good catch. Yeah, it's most likely in Minnesota then.

True story, Scott auditioned for the role of Freddy in A Pup Named Scooby-Doo. That's how he ended up getting the role of Red instead.
