Fun Fact of the Week #377

Picture
On the Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated: Season 2, Volume 1: A Danger in the Deep DVD, a production sheet flashes on screen for a millisecond at the very end of "Night Terrors" between the final scene and the credits. It may have to do with WB not encoding it onto the disc right, as trying to rewind once you pause it at that point causes it to jump to the end of the previous disc chapter (the scene mid-episode where Shaggy and Daphne are kissing). The sheet gives a production code of #345-810, a string of numbers and letters (2002Ft 09 32041F), and the date this episode was completed, December 19, 2011. This episode aired on Cartoon Network in the United States August 10, 2012, which gives us a general sense of how long these episodes are produced before they air.

My apologies for posting the fun fact so late today (5:00pm). It ended up being quite a busy day, and I knew this would take a while to do because of the picture (in hindsight, I should have just written it in advance). When I said it pops up for a millisecond, I mean literally a millisecond...so it took me like 20 minutes just to get this picture because I kept barely missing it and had to keep rewinding lol. Anyway, hopefully even though this wasn't posted at the regular time, maybe it can still brighten your morning on Tuesday!

I'll let you know when I've seen it, I had literally picked it up the day before and wasn't in the mood for a comedy at the time *JoJo plays in the background*

Yes! Someone was sweet enough to send me a better quality image, so I replaced the old one. :)

Hey have any of you scene the trailer of DC League of Super Pets. It looks like it will be a good movie. I also wonder what this means for the Scooby Doo/Krypto movie. Like will it be pushed back and another movie will come before it?

I think you may right about about the Scooby Doo/Krypto movie being pushed back. I think it would be rather odd to release two movies at the same time which would feature Krypto the Superdog, besides in all honesty I think two movies that would feature him is rather laying it on the thick on WB half. Perhaps they should drop this project and consider doing a movie which would involve something else, I think one movie with Krytpo is quite enough

The project is already in production and has been since at least June, so I doubt they'd drop it completely. It would definitely be a lot of Krypto to have two films with him so close together, but if they released the Scooby movie in February, that would at least be a few months away from May when League of Super Pets comes out.

I have seen that trailer, on Thanksgiving! It looks good. I don't think they'll push back Scooby and Krypto at all. Usually a Scooby DTV comes out in the first few months of the year, so I imagine that's what will happen again. The League of Super Pets movie doesn't come out until May. Maybe it could even be good promotion for that film.

That’s true i never thought of that before. It would be amazing if both movies came out the same year.

Yeah I agree, I wonder what the movie is going to be about and if it's going to be like last december where we got some information about the sword and the scoob and a few days later we got a trailer I wonder if the same thing is going to happen to the krypto crossover.

With Sword and the Scoob, we got the trailer on the first Tuesday of the month. If they follow that pattern, we will get the trailer this coming Tuesday for the next movie, which is presumably Krypto.

Could barely see the image, but made it that much more interesting. LOL.

I know right? lol It's really weird that they would have just had a random production sheet attached to that episode, and not removed it for just the version on that particular DVD. That production sheet doesn't pop up like that on any other DVD or airing.
