 Looking ahead to 2019, Scooby's 50th anniversary will ironically occur on Friday the 13th, a day which is very commonly considered spooky and mysterious across Westernized culture since the 19th century. Superstition has it that unlucky and supernatural things generally occur on Friday the 13th, which ironically fits perfectly with the theme of the Scooby-Doo franchise.
