Over the years, the Scooby-Doo franchise was only nominated for two major awards so far. In 1990, A Pup Named Scooby-Doo nearly won an Daytime Emmy, but lost to The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. In 2003, Mindy Cohn was nominated for another Daytime Emmy, for her role as Velma, in the category Outstanding Performance in an Animated Series, but lost to Gregory Hines for his role of Big Bill in the animated series Little Bill.

Interesting, Scooby Doo also had the Guiness World Record for most episodes for a cartoon comedy series in 2004, but quickly lost it to the Simpsons again, http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/3949579.stm

Very interesting piece! I wasn't aware that it was in the Guinness World Records! Fun to read all the fans' comments as well, although it's surprising to see so many people that hate Scrappy, and especially how focused people were on Daphne. Either way, it's so heartwarming to see fans from all around the world giving some the franchise some love! :)
