Earlier this week, the official Scooby-Doo website added 3 brand new games to their website. These games include "Scooby-Doo! Sneaky Crew," "Scooby-Doo! Monster Truck" and "Scooby-Doo! Creeper Chase." Sneaky Crew has you (the player) trying to create a path of Scooby Snacks to follow to lead Scooby away from an evil robot, which as a special Easter egg, has the same design as Charlie the Robot from the classic Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? episode "Foul Play in Funland." Monster Truck allows you to build your very own customized Scooby-Doo monster truck and test it out, while attempting to not let your truck fly off the racetrack or flip over. The final game, Creeper Chase, is very reminiscent of a game which was out many years ago (though unfortunately has been since removed) entitled "Run for Your Rife," in which you had to run away from the Camp Scare villains, the Woodsman, the Fishman and the Spectre of Black Canyon (and in a bonus level with a special code, you also could unlock a bonus level in which you had to outrun a tidal wave flooding the camp). The more recent game, which you can play on the Zoinks Points website, Race to WrestleMania also mirrors this. Taking on a similar premise, in this game, you have to outrun the Creeper and collect coins along the way. You can play Sneaky Crew, Monster Truck and Creeper Chase all at these links to the official WB Scooby-Doo site.
You can also check out information on these three games more in detail at the updated version of the Internet Games page!
Reader's Note: Those who read the original post will notice that one game "Be Cool Scooby-Doo: Spooky Snack Scare" is now no longer included in this post. This is due to the game having several glitches, including some which caused the game to completely crash. Until those glitches have been fixed, I've removed the game from this post and the Internet Games page.
According to Amazon, a special double feature edition of the LEGO Scooby-Doo films will be released next Tuesday, October 10. The set will include both feature-length films to date, which are "LEGO Scooby-Doo! Haunted Hollywood" and this year's "LEGO Scooby-Doo! Blowout Beach Bash." Special features will include two of the original Blowout Beach Bash DVD's bonus episodes, "Go Away Ghost Ship" from the original series, "Scooby-Doo! Where Are You" as well as "Party Like It's 1899" from the most recent series, "Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!"
Vanna Pira from Scooby-Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf is a reference to game show host Vanna White, who hosted Wheel of Fortune in a similar fashion to the way Vanna Pira hosted the Monster Road Rally. In addition, Vanna Pira is voiced by Pat Musick, the same person who provided the voice of Elsa Frankenteen in the previous film, Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School.
