This was actually pretty hard as I think both are excellent episodes and did justice to the original stories. But ultimately I *slightly* preferred the Cher episode. Even tho it’s practically a tie because they are both such amazing episodes.

Funny, I would say I slightly prefer the Sandy Duncan episode. That one felt a little more nostalgic to me because it felt like it picked up exactly where the original episode left off, and had so many nods to details from the original episode.

The Secret of Shark Island was just a better episode in the New Scooby Doo Movies so the Cher one made me feel extra nostalgic

I was shocked by those results too! I didn't think so many people liked "The Ghost of the Red Baron" haha.

I loved both but the Sandy Duncan one is better for me because the Hollywood setting was done well and tbh I preferred the original Sandy Duncan episode MUCH MORE than the original Sunny and Cher episode.

It's funny, even though I like the Guess Who Sandy Duncan better, I would say I liked the original Sonny and Cher episode more than the original Sandy Duncan one haha.

Lol, The Sonny and Cher one had some fun chases in the hotel, but the bit where they go in the cave is too boring in my opinion, and there's only 1 suspect. I don't know which episode is my favourite from "The New Scooby Doo Movies", it was always "The Frickert Fracas", but then I realised the episode is really annoying after they catch the 2 guys. I did enjoy the scene where the scarecrow is in the barn while they're making the noises tho. 7/13/2021 10:18:04 am
Yeah, The New Scooby-Doo Movies is definitely notorious for making the villain pretty obvious in a lot of episodes, even to the point where they sometimes literally tell you who the villain is before the episode is over. My favorite episode from The New Scooby-Doo Movies is by far "The Loch Ness Mess."

OOOH that was a fun one! I remember wanting to watch that since it was listed as a short film. Little did I know, it's just a new sd movies episode. I loved the chases, but I wouldn't say it's my favourite. 7/14/2021 09:47:49 am
It's actually my favorite episode of the entire franchise haha.

But I still wish that Simone was also included in the Cher episode.

I loved both of these too! It was tough to pick between them. I also wish Simone would have made a final appearance, potentially as the villain, in one of the final season 2 episodes.

Both of these remake episodes were done really well and I really like both of them. It was super hard to pick one. I really had to give it some thought. In the end I went with Cher, Scooby and The Sargasso Sea. Cher was really fun in this episode and they went with a different setting for this remake episode.

Since these episodes are both really good sequels, you think it will be a tie between the two episodes?
