To celebrate the 25th weekly poll, and the winner of the SCOOB! Trivia Challenge, Drakosleuth is writing this week's question! I'd have to say my favorite is the Headless Spectre for being the creepiest of any of them.

I really like the Green Ghosts because of the design, the creepy vibe they give off, and I love the cackling whether it was just one or both. I wish I could find an audio of one laughing separately and both laughing together with no background audio.

That would be cool to find an audio soundbite like that! I'd say my favorites are:

I can't design between the green ghosts and the spooky space kook they are both terrifying! The scene in the basement with the wine when he is coming towards them is super creepy!

He’s definitely creepier than the one in Decoy for a Dognapper, at least IMO.

I definitely appreciate the episode more now as an adult, but as a kid, I never liked the Puppet Master episode tbh. It felt like one of the weakest episodes to me because I never found the Puppet Master scary, but as an adult I can see how he could be made scary (I think Jordan Farrell's fan film remaking this episode honestly gave me a better appreciation of the Puppet Master)

Such a hard one and oops we've got a mistake! Wasn't the first Werewolf a Wolfman? Anyway think I'll have to go with the mummy, loved that episode and people being turned to stone. The Creeper and the Green Ghosts a close second and third.

And got really lucky this morn. Somebody put up some more rarer scoob merch on Ebay, one of the Mystery Machine popcorn buckets and Scoob puppy plush for only $20. They had 4 sets which flew out and Although it cost me 3 times as much due to shipping and customs, just shy of £50, the bucket alone is at over £65 on another auction, so overall very happy, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Puppy-Scooby-Doo-Plush-Mystery-Machine-Set-SCOOB-2020-WB-Collectible-NEW/124190751765?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649

Not interested in any of these but few other rarer Scoob merch, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lot-2020-SCOOB-Movie-Scooby-Doo-Plush-Pin-Mystery-Machine-Ears-Poster-Pencils-/124188623271?hash=item1cea3801a7%3Ag%3AU3kAAOSw4ytevwLn&nma=true&si=wr94PXp%252BPCIYYbjqou2mCsTGcAI%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 5/18/2020 06:31:02 pm
Shouldn't be a mistake, I'm almost positive "werewolf" is specifically said multiple times in that episode. And wow, great finds! I believe some of those were supposed to be theater exclusives, so it's really cool to know they're still releasing that stuff even though it sadly didn't make it to theaters. The marketing for this movie has been on-point!

Yeah, looking at it it seems wolfman and werewolf are used interchangeably for the first episode, despite werewolf being the term used during the episode. The hilarious one is WBs youtube which labels one of their videos wolfman despite shaggy clearly saying werewolf. Oh and SCOOB candy dishes, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hanna-Barberra-Scoob-2020-Movie-Theater-Exclusive-20-oz-Candy-Dish/184297588477?hash=item2ae8fe06fd:g:O1gAAOSwRwRewxOr 5/19/2020 11:18:11 am
I'm wondering where the Wolfman term came from, tbh, since it was never used in the episode. Maybe it's of a similar origin to how the gypsy in that episode is called Carlotta now, even though she was never named in the episode.

Even though he's not called so, the werewolf in this episode is Wolfman, because he is from the Universal Monsters gallery, along with Dracula and Frankenstein. 5/23/2020 04:07:00 pm
Hmm good point, though I would still argue that the name they kept calling him in the episode is the more accurate thing to call him.

Poll idea: Favorite or least favorite Scoob voice actor between Will Forte, Zac Efron, Amanda Seyfried and Gina Rodriguez.

That was my thought, yeah. I would be more curious to know who people liked most of the new actors, as we already know how much people love Frank Welker.

I'm quite interested to see if he would or not and how many people prefer the new actors over him. 5/20/2020 10:53:03 am
I doubt anyone would prefer the new actors over him, just because he's been an integral part of the franchise for so long, whereas these actors have only been in this one movie, but I could be wrong! Leave a Reply. |
