"Night Terrors" won the Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated setting poll last week, but two options were pretty close behind.

Difficult one, the settings are meant to be as impactful with this show's approach. The most memorable one though is almost universally Doo Not Disturb, so there's definitely something special about that one. But I personally gave it to In Space for being quite intense and unique.

Both are great settings, although I would personally put "Doo Not Disturb" among the best settings of the franchise. "In Space" is definitely unique in its own way too though.

Area 51 Adjacent for me with an honorable mention to Be Quiet, Scooby Doo.

I really liked the "Area 51 Adjacent" setting! "Be Quiet Scooby-Doo" was not one of my favorites, though. I felt the setting was too built around the joke of having to be quiet, which didn't allow the atmosphere of the setting to fully develop beyond that.

I have a question, with the writers strike going on,how would that affect Velma?

I looked it up and Mindy Kaling just joined the strike this past weekend. Depending on how far they were in the writing process, it could affect season 2 coming out if the other writers went on strike with Mindy.

I love a lot of the settings in these episodes too! This series was very strong for settings. I really like all of those ones that you listed as well. All of the ones you listed are ones I would rank as either "great" or "excellent."

I will do a ranking later, but I will go ahead and say that How To Train Your Coward gets my vote. A truly wonderful castle setting, and a nice twist on that

I voted for "Doo Not Disturb," but "How to Train Your Coward" is also great. As I've mentioned in other comments, this series was incredibly strong for settings. There were only three "meh" settings for me, and one that I didn't like. There were tons of settings in my excellent and great tiers. Here are my rankings:

What's not to like about Poodle Justice? 5/22/2023 02:54:31 pm
I definitely understand the appeal for the episode, but I wasn't a huge fan of it. I didn't feel the jokes were particularly funny and I didn't like the setting as much as most of the other episodes. That being said though, this was a very strong series full of amazing settings, so the episode had some tough competition. Apparently, head writer Jon Colton Barry said there were some behind-the-scenes reasons for why this episode was different from the some of the others, although he never ended up sharing what those were.

Yeah, Poodle Justice was certainly lacking. 5/23/2023 07:08:56 pm
@Gatherer Hade Completely agreed on "Doo Not Disturb." Those parts were terrifying! Also, I agree with your thoughts on Guess Who haha.

Seems like our rankings were very similar again! Haha, I'd definitely take my time getting around to "Pizza O Possum's." "Junkyard Dogs" was among the weaker episodes of the show too, but it's not bad like "Pizza O'Possum's" (although I did like the setting for the episode).

This series Arguably has some of the best settings of any Scooby series. Personally I'm giving it to one nobody has mentioned yet... There Wolf. I mean, a dark, practically abandoned animal hospital and a 10 foot werewolf, that's just horrifying.

I agree that this series did an amazing job of creating immaculate settings. I love "There Wolf" as a setting! It's one of my favorites from the show for how creepy it is.
