I was really debating whether to do the other "Winner's Circle poll" this week or a different poll, so I chose neither. Mr. Neither that is, who I'd like to thank for coming up with this week's poll idea!

You might also say the other options all came undone in comparison lol, because "Come Undone" won the Winner's Circle poll for last week with 36 votes! "The Beast Is Awake in Bottomless Lake" came in second with 25 votes, and "All Fear the Freak" was a close third with 21 votes. I can't wait to see what's voted as the favorite season premiere in next week's poll!

At first I expected this to be hard based on the amount of options, but then I saw Ghost of the Bad Humor Man is there, and so that's an easy win for me. My second favorite episode of the whole franchise behind Simple Plan and the Invisible Madman.

This probably would have been my second choice, but "Wrath of the Krampus" is one of my favorite episodes of the franchise, so I went with that!

Let me just say, Simple Plan and the Invisible Madman, Ghost of the Bad Humor Man, and Spooky Case of the Grand Prix Race in your top 5 of all time is some SERIOUSLY good taste. Simple Plan is easily in my top 5 as well, and while those 2 might not be quite there, they are still all tike favorites of mine

Simple Plan's definitely in my top 5 as well! The other two are definitely favorites, but not of the entire franchise. I'd rank "Ghost of the Bad Humor Man" #9 among The Scooby-Doo Show.

Simple Plan is my number 3 of all time, behind High Rise Hair Raiser and What the Hex Going On. As for Ghost of the Bad Humor Man and Grand Prix Race, I am a little unsure where things stand in the overall top ten race, but I will say that they both have a strong argument for number 3 of the series for me, behind Hair Raiser and Vampire Bats and Scaredy Cats

Haha, thanks Matt. You've got great taste too, High Rise Hair Raiser is an awesome choice for #1, that one's in my top 10 of all time. What the Hex Going On isn't quite in my top 10, but pretty sure top 25 or so.

Simple Plan and the Invisible Madman is pretty much perfection. I've never seen anyone dislike that episode. It actually shocks me how an episode about 35 years into the franchise can rank supreme amongst all the others, but that just speaks to how damn good it is.

It was tough to make a top 10, but I think for me, these would be my top 10 of the franchise. Simple Plan is maybe around the early teens? I wanted to put it in the top 5, but I couldn't justify it with how amazing some of these other episodes are.

10. The Creepy Heap from the Deep
9. Vampire Bats and Scaredy Cats
8. Haunted House Hang-Up
7. Mystery of Haunted Island
6. Guess Who's Knott Coming to Dinner?
5. Witch's Ghost
4. Zombie Island
3. Boo Brothers
2. Ghoul School
1. Loch Ness Mess

I have done a top 10 episodes of the franchise but not an overall top 10 of episodes, movies, specials, etc. Let's see.

10) Snow Job Too Small - Fast paced. Very funny. Great early vocals from Scott Menville. Nice animation. Fun mystery. Everything I want in a Scooby Doo episode.
9) Watch Out! The Willawaw! - Like I said before, this episode has some of the greatest comedy bits ever put into a cartoon.
8) Scooby Goes Hollywood - A little schmaltzy near the end and Fred, Velma, and Daphne are completely pointless here, but otherwise flawless.
7) A Fit Night Out for Bats - Just wonderful. A very nuanced episode with a great villain. Has some very progressive storytelling techniques. It develops tension very well. It also utilizes Scrappy's traits to their best advantage.
Opens the door to many more adventures between Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy.
6) A Clue for Scooby Doo - Fantastic mystery great comedy and villain. Brilliant reveal of the culprit.
5) Never Ape an Ape Man - I don't have a single complaint or criticism.
4) Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Werewolf - Perfection with a great chase song on top of it.
3) Haunted House Hangup - Faaaannntaasticc!!!
2) Bravo Dooby Doo - One of the best things ever put on a screen.
1) Hassle in the Castle - There are a 50 reasons why this is the best thing in the Scooby Doo franchise.

Honorable Mentions
Jeepers, It's the Creeper, Creepy Tangle in the Bermuda Triangle, When You Wish Upon a Star Creature, Ghosts of the Ancient Astronauts, Ship of Ghouls, Horror Scope Scoob, Boo Brothers, Arabian Nights, The Scooby Doo Project, Alien Invaders, Legend of the Vampire, Shags to Riches, Party Arty, Lightning Strikes Twice

@Wildwind, what would be your top 10 without the movies?

I'm gonna do just the episodes for now, cuz it gets tricky when trying to compare films and episodes:

2) Ghost of the Bad Humor Man
3) Spooky Case of the Grand Prix Race
4) Don't Fool with a Phantom
5) The Spirit Spooked Sports Show
6) Scared a Lot in Camelot

@Wildwind I think you skipped over Mystery of Haunted Island when removing the films.

Ok, so I tried to combine episodes, movies, specials and this is the top 10 I came up with:

1) Zombie Island
2) Simple Plan
3) Bad Humor Man
4) Grand Prix Race
5) Boo Brothers
6) Don't Fool with a Phantom
7) Spirit Spooked Sports Show
8) Scared a Lot
9) Reluctant Werewolf
10) The Scooby-Doo Project

Could change on a different day.

WildwindVampire link
7/5/2022 10:29:46 am

@Matt That's a great honorable mentions list! All of those episodes are solid picks, and the only one I didn't really care for on there is "The Phantom of the Country Music Hall."

@Becker Oops, you're right! Not sure how that one got removed haha. You've got a lot of solid picks on your list and quite a lot of similarities to mine movie-wise, between Boo Brothers and Zombie Island. Reluctant Werewolf was close for me, but it's my least favorite of the 80s films (although that doesn't necessarily mean much because it's still one of my favorite Scooby films). Neat to see "Spirit Spooked Sports Show" and "The Scooby-Doo Project" on there! Here's my corrected list ("Some Fred Time" would be #11).

10. Simple Plan and the Invisible Madman
9. Harum Scarum Sanitarium
8. A Halloween Hassle at Dracula's Castle
7. A Night of Fright is No Delight
6. The Creepy Heap from the Deep
5. Vampire Bats and Scaredy Cats
4. Haunted House Hang-Up
3. Mystery of Haunted Island
2. Guess Who's Knott Coming to Dinner?
1. Loch Ness Mess

@Matt, on the series ranking back in 2019, SDWAY was #1, but maybe it's changed since then

Matt
7/5/2022 02:03:29 pm

@Becker, hmm maybe. I was thinking either here or on the Scoobyaddicts board, Wildwind has said the NSDMo were number one. I guess we’ll see with a response here lol

@Wildwind Also, interesting to see that Haunted House Hang Up and Simple Plan and the Invisible Madman are now at the top of their series over A Night of Fright is No Delight and Vampire Strikes Back respectively

WildwindVampire link
7/5/2022 07:36:09 pm

Haha I always have trouble deciding between the two series, because I like them both in different ways. I used to say Where Are You, since it was the classic series that started all the tropes we've come to know and love, and it has an amazingly dark tone that's been unmatched in any series IMO. However, I have a lot of nostalgia around The New Scooby-Doo Movies. My parents recorded VHS tapes of much of the series when I was a kid, and I watched those episodes so many times. I absolutely love the atmosphere of the series. It feels like the perfect combination between mystery and a little bit of comedy. The guest stars always fit so well with the gang, to the point where many of them felt like they could have been a part of it. Between loving the atmosphere the episodes have and the nostalgia, The New Scooby-Doo Movies is definitely my favorite series now. Where Are You is still a close second, though.

@Matt, yeah, while "The Vampire Strikes Back" and "A Night of Fright Is No Delight" are still close seconds, "Haunted House Hang-Up" and "Simple Plan and the Invisible Madman" switched places with them for me. The former two are still close seconds, but I rewatched both of them recently and they became my new favorites (at least for the moment haha).

You know what, I've said for a long time that I'm going to rewatch "The Phantom of the Country Music Hall," so I'm going to finally rewatch it tonight given I have the time. I'll be back on in a few hours to give you a report haha.

Oh WOW there are some great ones in here

13. Chinese Food Factory- It’s a Scrappy short

12. Recipe For Disaster- One of, if not my least favorite What’s New episode. It just bores me and can’t even give it creativity props because Wanted Cheddar Alive already did it better

11. Sorcerer Snacks Scare- I like it

10. Block Long Hong Kong Terror- I like it

9. Howl of the Fright Hound- I like it

8. Night of the Living Toys- I like it. You can switch around 8-11 in any order on any given day

7. Haunted Candy Factory- Loses some points because of the fat jokes, but other than that I really like it. California Dreamin is an all time favorite song of mine, so it is nice to see Cass Elliot

6. Caped Crusader Caper- Love this one, just like those early Dynomutt crossovers where they work together in an adventure superhero caper

5. Wanted Cheddar Alive- One of my favorite Pup episodes, just a classic

4. Wrath of Krampus- A top 2 episode of SDMI for me, just flat out AWESOME. Unfortunately for it, three personal favorites are ahead of it

3. No Faced Zombie Chase Case- Comes in at number three rather easily. Fantastic episode

2. Dynamic Scooby Doo Affair- The top two are CLOSE. This is my second favorite of the New Scooby Doo Movies, just an all around blast, with the 40 minute format being PACKED with different settings and a good mystery

1. Ghost of the Bad Humor Man- Had to be. A childhood favorite of mine, and a truly underrated mystery and the ice cream factory is just such a fun setting

13. Chinese Food Factory- It’s a pretty boring Scrappy episode. Even the title is boring lol.

12. Howl of the Fright Hound- Decent enough, but not my favorite SDMI episode.

11. Night of the Living Toys- Pretty good, there are definitely better New Scooby-Doo Mysteries episodes.

10. Block Long Hong Kong Terror- Like the villain and unique setting of this one.

9. Haunted Candy Factory - not a huge fan of the fat jokes, but the episode is really good. One of the weakest New Scooby-Doo Movies episodes though IMO.

8. Recipe For Disaster- I wasn't really bored by this episode and liked the villain and setting. I enjoyed the spooky atmosphere of the factory.

7. Wanted Cheddar Alive- Amazing Pup episode, does the same plot for the above episode much better.

6. Sorcerer Snacks Scare- Fun episode, I like how they explore the history behind Scooby Snacks.

5. Caped Crusader Caper- This one is a ton of fun, and I love gentlemanly Batman haha. All the settings of the episode (forest, caves, toy factory) were really cool.

4. No Faced Zombie Chase Case- Such a classic Scooby-Doo Show episode and a really creepy setting. Love this one.

3. Dynamic Scooby Doo Affair- Love all the different settings here. Even if the villain was lackluster, I loved how they tied in Joker and Penguin here. The "Take 'em away, boys!" line where Robin has to correct them "He meant the other way around" is hilarious to me lol.

2. Ghost of the Bad Humor Man- A major classic with amazing villains and setting, and the unique premise is awesome. Unfortunately, it didn't beat out...

1. Wrath of the Krampus - the twist at the end is incredible and just makes this whole episode stand out as one of my favorites of the franchise.

Ghost of the Bad Humor Man takes it for me. The Neapolitan gimmick was a clever way to use palette-swaps, the factory setting was utilized well with various set pieces and an overall spooky vibe, and the mystery was good with some reasonable deductions like the heavy truck cracking the floor.

The No Faced Zombie Chase is a weird one. I had only ever seen the first few minutes of that episode until a few years ago, due to having that part but not the rest recorded on VHS. Boy, does it take a turn. It felt like a fever dream the first time I watched it all. I always laugh at the gorilla pulling up in the car.

Completely agreed, it was a really solid episode. Even though they were, it didn't really feel like the ghosts were just repeats, like how Redbeard and his crew did in "The Ghostly Creep from the Deep."

That episode does feel like a fever dream, especially the addition of the random gorilla even though they had already established a villain lol.

The Dynamic Scooby Affair:
This episode was good. I half to say I’m really interested in the mystery club convention they mentioned. They were on there way to it before they got flat tires.

Batman and Robin were great guest stars and felt like they’re part of the gang. I liked that the gang knew they needed to be blind folded while Batman and Robin takes them there. Haha Scooby called him Batman, and Robin the Dynamic Trio. It was also funny the Scooby imagined himself as Batman while in the Bat-mobile.

The Joker and Penguin were good villains. I enjoyed the scenes in the Batman and Robin exhibit. I like how Robin mentioned the Riddler. Joker and Penguin taking the detectives away then Robin told them the other way around haha.

I liked the scene in the toy factory Daphne ties Scooby’s mouth to keep him quiet is like what Velma did in What A Night For A Knight. Scooby Doo riding the toy car and bumping into objects just like in the intro.

Interestingly, this episode was the first time Velma’s catchphrase Jinkies was used. It was also used by Shaggy.

Mrs. Baker being the culprit was kind of a surprise. She seemed like a sweet old lady. Also where is she at the end of the episode did she escaped?

The ending was nice of Batman giving Scooby Batsnacks for the capture of Joker, Penguin and Mrs. Baker

I would have been interested to see the Mystery Club Convention too! That could have made for a cool plot for another episode.

Yeah, Batman and Robin are amazing guest stars and definitely feel like part of the gang. I've always appreciated how gentlemanly this version of Batman is.

The addition of Joker and Penguin was awesome. They fit in the episode really nicely even though there was already another main villain. That scene where the detectives allow Joker and Penguin to take them away with such happy-go-lucky looks on their faces always makes me laugh haha.

I remember being really surprised to find out that Shaggy was the first to say Velma's catchphrase. I had never picked up on it before!

I was surprised Mrs. Baker was the culprit too, given how kind she was at the beginning.

The Caped Crusader Caper:
This episode was just as good at the first one. Batman and Robin were good guest stars. Joker and Penguin were good villains. I liked their monster disguises the Dryad and Troll. The Fountain Phantom was a unique villain.

The best part of this episode was Professors Flakey’s stuttering problem. I wonder if they were trying to parody Looney Tunes Porky Pigs stuttering problem. Another Looney Tunes reference is Shaggy using the Bugs Bunny reverse psychology gag with Scooby.

It was interesting the Fred is saying Daphnes catchphrase Jeepers in this episode.

I loved seeing giant balloons of Batman, Robin, Fred Flintstone, Yogi Bear and, Santa Claus.

The Haunted Candy Factory:
I really liked this episode. Cass Elliot was a great guest star and was really funny. The fat jokes were too forced though. It’s sad the she passed away nine months after this episode aired. RIP Cass Elliot

The setting of the candy factory was nice. It was also pretty spooky and i liked that all of them kept getting into situations with the candy in the factory.

The Green Globs were great villains. They were also funny at one point. When Cass Elliot came at them on the forklift and said “Here I come ready or not” and one of them said not ready.

The motive was pretty interesting and it was obvious the Mr. Krink was one of the culprits. Sterling Smith pretending to be Mr. Franklin I didn’t see that coming. It was funny that Shaggy try to take off the mask of the real Mr. Franklin and he got upset.

The ending of this episode was nice with the gang, Cass Elliot, Detective Storm and the real Mr. Franklin having dinner together.

It had a very spooky vibe to it. The Green Globs were amazing villains, and yeah, they were kinda funny/witty at certain points. I enjoyed that. Yeah, this was one of those New Scooby-Doo Movies episodes where the culprit was kinda obvious. I definitely didn't guess that Mr. Franklin was being impersonated, though! My Top 5
5) Ghost of the Bad Humor Man - Decent episode but not that funny, just as the title suggests.
4) Dynamic Scooby Affair - Good but not great.
3) Chinese Food Factory - Classic Episode. " You used your noodle hahaha!"
2) Caped Crusader Caper - My second favorite episode of the New Scooby Doo Movies. From Fred being uproariously rude to that hilarious Professor Flakey. this episode is a riot!
1) No Faced Zombie Chase - As the Three Stooges will tell you, a gorilla is always the icing on the cake.
Also, the pacing is blisteringly fast.

Nice list! I agree the title for "The Ghost of the Bad Humor Man" is a bit strange, given there was more than one ghost and the "Good Humor Man" (the ice cream brand which the title is parodying) isn't mentioned at all. Although I'm not a big fan of "Chinese Food Factory," I will admit the "you used your noodle!" joke is right up my alley of ridiculous puns lol.

The No Face Zombie Chase Case:
This was a fantastic episode. The No Face Zombie was a great and original villain. The beginning scene of him walking, moaning and breaking into the jewelry store and eerie music playing during it is the creepiest scene of the episode. Oh can’t forget how he just grabbed Mr. Dally and pulled him into the store room.

The setting of the Dilly Dally Dolly Toy Co. was great. Daphne and Velma pretending to be dolls to get the coin that was a cute scene. Scooby falling into the toy duplicating machine and creating all those Scooby clones was a funny idea.

The Gorilla where did he come from? He was a nice addition to the episode. He even drove a car. He’s nowhere compared to the No Face Zombie though.

The ending was funny with all the Scooby Doo duplicates eating all the burgers.

The Ghost of A Bad Humor Man:
I really liked this episode. The ice cream factory was a nice and spooky setting. The Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry Phantoms were great and original villains. It’s so cool that they have the same designs as the Phantom Shadows. The voice telling the gang to leave was creepy.

Shaggy haha “My nose just sent a message to my brain to inform my stomach to tell my nose to say I smell bacon”. It was funny that him and Scooby were trying to start a fire in an ice scream factory.

Avery Queen pretending to have a broken leg and wearing a fake cast was an interesting sub plot. He was just hiding money so the Phantoms wouldn’t steal it.

Overall, very nice episode with a fun setting. Like how can you not like this episode its about ice cream. Who dose love ice cream.

This episode also shared similarities to The Haunted Candy Factory. Both take place in a tasty treat factory: Candy, Ice Cream.

In both episodes, Shaggy dresses up as one of the monsters and the monster thinks he is one of them.

One of the culprits turns out to be a professional robber: Sterling Smith: an international gold swindler, Sammy The Shrimp a very clever highjacker. The law enforcement officer even reveals who they are. Their motives are pretty ingenious.

Sterling Smith along with Mr. Crink stealing the gold, using metal grinders to brake the gold and mixing the gold with the chocolate and nuts to make solid gold chocolate bars to smuggle out of the country.

Sammy The Shrimp and his henchmen hijacked an armored car and painted it to look like a bad humor ice cream truck and we’re planning to drive it through every road block in the city.

There was a dinner in The Haunted Candy Factory. There was a mention of a steak dinner in The Ghost of A Bad Humor Man.

The Chinese Factory:
Typical Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo short. Nothing really exciting about it. Lines I liked were “ Last one in is a rotten egg roll and “that’s using your noodle”.

Although the episode wasn't great, I will admit to liking that "using your noodle" pun lol.

Night of The Living Toys:
This episode was ok. The idea of living toys being controlled by an elf was good. It was interesting that the whole brick wall was solid gold.

I've always found the mystery really interesting too. I like the villain.

Wanted Cheddar Alive:
I really liked this episode. It was very nice that the focus of this episode was Scooby Snacks. Scooby becoming sad that there will be no more Scooby Snacks and the gang want to solve the mystery and save the Scooby Snacks.

The Cheese Monster was a pretty good villain. How he said “No more Scooby Snacks” was so cool. I soon as I saw the blue suit, Larry P Acme running and the person underneath what remains of the costume I’m like it’s Larry P Acme.

It was nice character change for Scooby Doo to be brave with no Scooby Snacks present and to save his friends and eating the Cheese Monster.

In the end the gang solved the mystery, the Scooby Snack factory was saved and Constance McSnack hired back Boris and gave a lot of Scooby Snacks to Scooby as a reward.

I thought it was a great episode too! It was cool it took place in the Scooby Snacks factory. I really liked the cheese monster as the villain, and it created some good character development for Scooby to have to learn to be brave without Scooby Snacks.

Recipe For Disaster:
I liked this episode. The setting of the Scooby Doo factory was nice. I like the idea of spies trying to steel the secret recipe. The Scooby Snack Monster was a great villain. I also liked that there was more than one and the second on was Trudy who was tying to steel the recipe for a rival factory. Penelope was only trying to protect her family business.

Ernest Bailey he was funny. The stuff he said. Where fear is all around, Expired and how he keeps falling asleep. Moss T Meister he was so mean and protective of the recipe. It was nice that he had a change of heart at the end of the episode and gave Scooby and Shaggy a tour of the factory. I liked at the end Scooby said a variation of his catchphrase ( Scooby Snacky Doo) and waved goodbye. That was a good way to end the episode.

This episode was also like Wanted Cheddar Alive. Both episodes take place at the Scooby Snack Factory. A monster made out of food batter. People trying to steel the secret formula. Rival snack food companies. Shaggy tracing food batter on the floor that leads to the foot of the monster. A reward of a life time of Scooby Snacks in both episodes.

This was a great episode and I liked how it was similar to "Wanted Cheddar Alive." I really liked the Scooby Snack Monster as a villain, possibly even a little better than the Cheese Monster. I liked Ernest as a character too haha. I agree it was nice to see Meister's change of heart at the end.

Block Long Hong Kong Terror:
I really enjoyed this episode. The Hong Kong Dragon was a great villain. It was cool how he was apart of the parade and then he just came alive . He also had a really cool design.

Detective Keng he was funny trying to get the dragon and failing. The Glowing Energy Beast and The Ploto Plasmic Plasma Phantom. Those sound like they would be great Scooby Doo villains.

Shaggy’s Duck Guy. He has Shaggy’s chin hair haha. It was cool that he went face to face with the dragon in the chase scene.

Mei Ling i liked her. She saved Shaggy and Scooby and Fred, Daphne and Velma. She even kidnapped them to keep them safe. Shaggy and Mei Ling relationship was cute. They have duck toys, Duck Guy and Duck Girl. She even gave him Duck Girl and hope that they would meet again. Shaggy said the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Duck Guy even has a friend two Duck Girl.

Fred trying to learn Jujitsu was funny he ended up defeating Wu and the Acrobats. It was funny at the end when Fred took of the Ling Ming Candy Ring and Scooby swallowed it.

Another great WNSD episode. I liked the Dragon as a villain too, especially how he was introduced. Him already being part of the parade made it extra surprising. I agree both of those monsters would have made great Scooby villains! Mei Ling was an awesome character and I also thought her relationship with Shaggy was really cute.

Howl of The Fight Hound:
I enjoyed this episode. I like the idea of a monster dog attacking Crystal Cove and Scooby is being framed for it and scent to an asylum for insane animals. The Fright Hound was a great villain. He did look cooler and more scary when his skin came off. I also like the battle scene between Scooby and the Fright Hound and the dog puns.

Shaggy was devastated that Scooby was taken away. It was heartwarming that they reunited and gave each other a hug. Felt sorry for Velma though when Shaggy chose Scooby over her. Can’t blame him though. He could’ve never saw Scooby again if he was locked up in the asylum for a long time.

The animals in the asylum were crazy. The monkey trying to grab the gang. Mr. Bendy trying to bite Office Johnson on the butt. It was cool that we saw a bear that looks like Yogi Bear.

Jason Wyatt was a goofy character. His mother was a whack job. I understand that she was just looking out for her son but come on. Fred in this episode kind of reminded of APNSD Fred when he said good glad all that worked out. You know being saying something that he should have never said.

This episode was also the first appearance of Professor Perclies. Seriously, how did he taped Officer Johnson’s stun gun to his hand. Man he really is evil. He told the gang (specifically talking to Fred) to beware those closest to them ( Mayor Jones his fake father). In the end he escaped and Mr. E told the gang they they must follow him.

The Fright Hound was an amazing villain! It was definitely a lot creepier when his skin came off. The dog puns were great haha. I liked the Yogi Bear cameo too haha. I liked Jason's character and it was cool that he was named after one of the people who worked on the show. I'm glad Shaggy chose Scooby over Velma. It was sweet that Scooby being taken away made Shaggy realize he needed Scooby (although the Shaggy/Velma drama was kind of unnecessary in the first place). This episode was an epic intro to Professor Pericles. Taping the stun gun to the officer's hand and his cryptic warning to the gang was really creepy.

Wrath of The Krampus:
This was a great and very surprising episode. Krampus was a great, cool creepy and original villain. He’s an evil goat boogeyman who punishes misbehave children buy scaring them and turning them old. He’s like the evil monster version of version Santa. It was so cool that his eyes turn red and he melted that barbell and how he had a long icky tongue.

In the arcade we see the Phantom Shadows in a game that was a cool reference. Shaggy made up another quote 10 second nose rule haha.

The original Mystery Incorporated trying to steel the Planispheric Disk but failing every time. They even had their own mystery machine: the enigma machine.

It was cool seeing culprits in the prison the gang unmasked from previous episodes. Professor Emmanuel Raffalo, Grady and Greta Gator, Bud Shelton, Mary Ann Gleardan, Alice May, Jax Minner, Shelia Altoonian, Grandma Moonbeam, Argus Fentonpoof, Ernesto, Deputy Bucky, Ex Mayor Jones, Curator Vronsky, Baylor Hotner, Butch Firbanks, and Dan Fluunk.

The setting of the old abandon toy factory was creepy. It was also creepy that Krampus pretended to be a doll head.

The ending was really surprising. The whole mystery was set up by Mystery Incorporated so that they can get the original Mystery Incorporated disc pieces. They created Krampus by using Charlie The Haunted Robot and it was controlled by Jason Wyatt and he also created visible aerosol that makes hair white and long. Mary Ann Gleardan was in on it too. Fred placed a bug on Brad while hugging him to get the code to Mr. E’s vault so they can give to Hot Dog Water so she can get their 3 disc pieces and Mystery Incorporated planted fake ones and gave the real ones to the one person that I never would’ve expected or anyone else would of expected, the Ex Mayor Jones.

Fred telling Brad and Judy that he won’t be coming home for dinner ever. That must of hit him hard. They just came back in his life and all they can think about is that treasure. Scooby’s right they don’t deserve Nova.

It was cool to see the whole Planispheric Disk together and the eyes of the crystal coffin glow and muttering Nibiru and laughing was creepy.

This was an amazing episode and one of my favorites of the entire franchise. Krampus was an incredible and unique villain.

I liked that we saw the Phantom Shadows. That was a cool reference! All the callbacks to previous villains that were caught in prison was a nice touch.

The Enigma Machine was cool haha.

That factory was super creepy, arguably the creepiest of any factory the gang has been in because of those dolls.

The ending was epic. I remember being so shocked when the gang revealed the entire mystery was just a distraction so they could steal the Planispheric Disc. One of the best reveals in franchise history, IMO. I was particularly shocked they trusted Mayor Jones.

Fred leaving his parents in this scene was super dramatic and really well done. I agree they don't deserve Nova haha.

The Planispheric Disc being completely put together was beautiful. The Evil Entity's eyes glowing in the coffin was really creepy!

Sorcerer Snack Scare:
This was a really fun episode. The characters in this episode were really funny. Sam Samson being positive when things aren’t going so well. Beverly Bites in background enjoying her wealth. Milton being mad at Fred who he thinks is trying to take his job.

The Sorcerer was a great and creepy villain. I like how he had a staff that can bring anything to life. I liked that Piero The Puppeter is based off Mr. Pietro from The Backstage Rage. Daphne coming across puppets again was nice.

This use of Sorcerer Snacks and the bribery of Shaggy and Scooby was done well. Shaggy and Scooby were even fighting over the Sorcerer Snacks. Then Fred decided to hold on to them. I like how Fred bribed Shaggy and Scooby with sorcerer snacks to make them do something they would never do. Just like in previous Scooby series, Fred and the girls would bribe the two with Scooby Snacks for them to be bait or do something else.

It was cool how Sam Samson came up with Scooby snacks at the end of the episode.

It's kinda weird, though, how these Scooby Snacks never appeared again in Be Cool after this episode, which was basically their origin story. It felt like they were setting them up in this ep to be a recurring bribe just like in the classics, but I guess not.

@ShadowScooby I thought this episode was very funny too. I liked the Sorcerer as a villain and his power of bringing things to life was creepy! I enjoyed the Pietro reference. I love how this episode explored the dark history behind Scooby Snacks being used as bribery. It was cool of them to explore it, given they'd never explored it previously in the franchise.

@Becker I also found it weird how Scooby Snacks didn't appear again after this episode. Somebody added it into "All Paws on Deck," but JCB has said that was just randomly added in without his permission and that they should have waited until this episode for the origin story.
