A trailer for Velma season 2 has been released on YouTube. The trailer reveals a few new plot threads for this season, including a serial killer targeting men, Norville feeling guilty about Fred's mom, Fred continuing his "Spooky Stuff Van," Daphne's parents warning the gang not to investigate, and a hinted romance between Fred's dad and Velma's mom. Cautiously excited. I feel like Velma could have been a good show with just a few things changed (mostly a main character that I don't completely hate). Hopefully they responded to the feedback of S1 in some way and this season improves on it.

To be fair I was more neutral about the new Velma series after watching for the first time. I will admit it is not all that perfect though at the same time I didn't find it to be all the bad ether, at least not completely. I liked this shows story plot concept, animation, voice acting and dark tone. Plus it does have a few good moments here and there. However I will agree that some parts of the shows execution could've been handled a slight bit better and I do wish Shaggy/Norville's character art design would be a bit more faithful to his original concept art style.

That's good to hear. Surprisingly, from what I've heard Thorn wasn't too bad as a character compared to the other characters in the series. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the writers trying to poke the fanbase though.
