It's seemed like a switch flipped when Velma stopped airing and most everybody collectively agreed to cease talking about the show, but after four months, we have our first tidbit of news on the series. The first season of the series has been given a release on digital platforms, including Amazon, Apple TV and Vudu. Each episode is available for $1.99, or the full season could be bought for $14.99. Note that there was no direct link to the Apple TV page, as their main web browser page doesn't actually let you purchase anything. If you have the Apple TV application, you can search the series on there.
On a separate note, there are a few oddities/mistakes with the wide streaming release.

But will there be a physical release (DVD or Blu-Ray)?

I was wondering that as well. I didn't want to put it in the post since it's not official news yet, but there is a site that lists a season 1 DVD. This same site confirmed Trick or Treat a couple weeks before its release, but I'm not sure how reliable the site is overall, so I'm taking it with a grain of salt. https://www.dvdland.com.au/products/Velma-%252d-Complete-Season-1.html

Hey Thomas, sorry to hear about your surgery. I hope you recover soon! I am pretty sure Krypto Too will be released now given the Amazon UK listing was updated, and that triple feature listing that I posted about a couple weeks ago also showed up on Amazon France. There are some other folks from the UK that frequent this site so they can jump in here if I'm wrong, but as far as I've heard, Velma has not been released in the UK yet.

I wasn't aware the Annecy Festival was Thursday, but that's really good to know that there might be a renewal announcement. Thanks for the heads up on that, Chloe!

Well that sounds like a tremendous waste of money. I already have Max and I won't even watch it for free

Lol I'm curious if they released it elsewhere because they're looking to see if it can be successful on other streaming services. There's a rumor floating around that season 2 will air on Tubi, so this could be a way for them to test that out.

Yay now it can be ignored on other services. Like seriously just give us Krypto too and we’ll forget about this hateful show.

I hope we hear some news about Krypto soon. I haven't posted about it yet because I'm waiting to see if it's just an error, but Amazon UK deleted the description that was added to the Krypto Too listing. The France listing has stayed intact. I hope that doesn't mean we're not getting it.
