This is batshit, but the most random part is Bubbles from PPG is in it (yet is not mentioned in the description). Makes me wonder if Blossom and Buttercup appear too, cuz why include just one Powerpuff Girl if you can? Also strange that Daphne and Velma are the only members of the gang present (at least in a major role).

The exclusion of Shaggy and Fred is very weird, although the description mentioned only Daphne and Velma, yet Scooby is clearly there, so I guess it's possible they'll at least show up? Very weird they'd only include one Powerpuff girl lol.

Yeah, the official book description is pretty terrible lol, you can't tell if Shaggy, Fred or even Scooby will actually appear or not. However, the first sentence of the description says "Mystery Inc", not just Daphne & Velma and maybe Scooby. Why refer to them as Mystery Inc if it's not all 5 members? So that leads me to believe all of them appear in the book, but Daphne and Velma are just the lead characters. 10/27/2023 01:29:16 pm
Agreed, the book description is really poorly written. Hopefully we'll get a more detailed one (or at least more info) before the book comes out.

The recent attempts to create a unified family friendly WB "brand" have been interesting. It's clearly a reaction to Disney but I think WB has a more diverse group of characters to pull from

I've found it kinda interesting too, that Teen Titans Go! 100th Anniversary Special definitely felt like they were riffing off of Disney with all that "magic of Warner Brothers" stuff.

I just wish that Penelope Pitstop from the Wacky Races should be part of both the Wacky Races and Scooby-Doo franchises.
