Warner Brothers and Monlove, a Canadian theater group, have partnered to put on a brand new stage show, Scooby-Doo and the Lost City of Gold. The actors will be embarking on a five-year-long tour from March 2020-2025, covering 30 different countries. This production will be very high-tech and will feature puppetry, original music, dance performances, aerial arts, interactive video, video mapping, magic tricks and live actors. There will also be "elevated winks and nods for adults" who are fans of the series, according to CartoonBrew.
The play will be directed by Pierre Boileau, designed by Guy-St-Amor (of Cirque du Soleil fame), and written by Ella Louise Ellaire and Martin Lord Ferguson.
