The co-creator of Scooby-Doo, Joseph Ruby, has tragically passed away today at 87 of natural causes in his home. With Ken Spears, Ruby co-wrote all but four episodes of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?. The world has truly suffered a tragic loss today with Joe Ruby gone. May he rest in peace, and may his memory live on!

Rest in piece Joe Ruby. You will forever be remembered as co creator of Scooby doo. I wonder if Happy Halloween Scooby Doo will have a in memory of him after the end credits.
