For those who were excited about Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! releasing on September 22 at Target, along with the early release this week at Walmart, there's a bit of bad news. Target has now changed this date on their website to October 6. It is my understanding that if you pre-ordered this from Target hoping it would come on September 22, it will now come October 6, the same date as the digital release and DVD release from other retailers.

That is a bit upsetting, of course where I live, I have both a Target and 2 Wal-marts,regular and neighborhood. But, right now I don't have the money or a license to go and buy my a DVD on my own, so I can wait longer.

Yeah, I'm going to wait until the digital date to see it. I don't think you did mention it, but that's cool!

My parent picked it up today, and we just watched it, curious what others thoughts will be but remaining silent so as not to spoil.

Thank you for the review, but I think I'm going to hold off on reading it until I see the film in a few weeks!

Not a spoiler, but they do have their van back at the beginning of the film, with no explanation given. I wonder if the King Arthur film takes place before it, but got pushed back due to COVID, and they had to release this movie now to time it with Halloween.

Hmm...that'll be interesting to see if it continues in the King Arthur film!

I think this film is obviously an end of a trilogy and I think the van they have is just the prop from RTZI with smaller wheels. 9/21/2020 07:52:52 pm
People who have seen the film have confirmed that this is not the case. The real Mystery Machine is back without explanation, so some are speculating King Arthur should have come first and will wrap that plotline up.

I never thought of that before and it makes sense considering that king Arthurs court was supposed to come out first even if it isn't the case I wouldn't really care anyway but it would be kind of cool if that is the case

I can’t believe this isn’t out in America still. I wondered where your review was. I saw it a week ago and I really enjoyed it. The writer is new but seeing what he’s done before I suspected he’d deliver some stuff to take the piss, mostly regarding this new version of Velma. The film is littered with Easter eggs and references to soooo much!! You’ll have to do a feature on all the hidden nods.

I’m waiting for the digital copy on October 6, so my review will be out sometime soon after that!
