Though unfortunately the Scooby-Doo: Downhill Dash 2 game has been permanently removed from the Scooby-Doo Boomerang UK website, five brand new Scooby-Doo internet games have been released.
Firstly, two new Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! games are now on the Boomerang UK website. The first, Mystery Chase, involves running away from 9 different Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! monsters in the prison, museum, and caves, while playing as any member of the gang! The nine monsters included are The Ghost of Elias Kingston, the Spirit of the Zatari Warrior, the sea monster, Sobek, the Crystal Crawler, the Yeti, a white version of the wraith, The Ghost of Stealin' Stan, and the Mummy (from "Mysteries on the Disorient Express").
The second BCSD game is another version of Monster Sandwich titled Sandwich Stack, a game which has been on the WB and Boomerang UK website for years. To win, you have to stack all the food up on a piece of bread to make a gigantic submarine sandwich.
Two of the games, on the WB website, are also part of the Doo Good environmental initiative. Food Frenzy has you lead Scooby through the mazes to help him collect all the food, so it doesn't go to waste. The game includes classic villains such as the scarecrow, Miner 49er and a phantom. The other game, Ruff Rescue involves helping Scooby rescue the puppies from the Miner 49er by safely leading him through the obstacles in the haunted mines.
In the final game on the WB site, Trick or Treat, you have to help Scooby collect all the candy while also avoiding the baddies.
It's great that they're continuing to release Scooby-Doo internet games. I was a bit worried after so many were removed from the Cartoon Network website during a recent redesign, but it appears they're still actively releasing new games on a regular basis!
