Thanks to Shadowscooby for suggesting this week's poll idea! I included "Attack of the Headless Horror" since the last 7 minutes of the episode took place in the hospital with Rick, even though the hospital wasn't the setting for the majority of the episode.
Although "Giant Problems" did win last week's Ireland poll with 31 votes, it wasn't as much of a clean sweep for that option as you might expect from the comment section. "Scooby's Luck of the Irish" was decently close behind with 19 votes, while "The Grand Canyon and Ireland" got 7 votes, putting it in last place.

Update 4/2: Collider has confirmed the April 25 date. All episodes will be released on Max's site that day.
According to the monthly "What's New on Max" video for April, we will officially be getting the second season of Velma next month on Max (confirmation is at the 0:22 mark). While no official date was provided, Max CEE Updates posted on X that April 25 is the release date, and that all episodes will be added on the same day rather than two per week like the first season. This X account isn't an official source and I typically try to avoid posting rumors; however, the account posted the April 25 date on Monday, March 18, which was before this video came out confirming the release date was April, so it's possible they have an inside source. That said, note that while we do know it will be releasing in April, the specific date hasn't been confirmed by an official source, so take April 25 with a grain of salt for now. After the presumed success of the Superstars 10 Blu-Ray set, WB is releasing another set of films on Blu-Ray that have never been released before on the format. On April 30, a Zombie Island and Return to Zombie Island double feature Blu-Ray will be released by Warner Archive, according to their Facebook page. It appears that the films will only be released on Blu-Ray together and will not have separate releases.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day! The votes from last week's set were pretty spread out, but similarly to the week before, we had two options that were very close. "Howl of the Fright Hound" was poised to win for most of the week, but yesterday, "The Were-Doo of Doo Manor" got the three extra votes it needed to pull in the lead!

Written by DEREK FRIDOLFS Art by RANDY ELLIOTT Cover by DEREK FRIDOLFS $2.99 US | 32 pages ON SALE 6/4/24 A day at the lake for fishing and floating down the lazy river seems like just the getaway Mystery Inc. needs after running from ghosts all week. But their weekend trip is cut short when the tranquil waters are threatened by a multi-headed hydra! After the open beta version of MultiVersus was quietly taken down last year, no official release ever happened. Nearly two years after the launch of the open beta, we finally have some news on the official release. According to Bloody Disgusting, the official release of MultiVersus will finally happen on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. It will be available as a free download on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series and Xbox One, Steam, and the Epics Game Store.
The official version will feature a few tweaks made to the gameplay, including a new Player vs. Environment mode, additional stages featuring reimagined environments, as well as additional environments. Shaggy and Velma will still be playable characters, but there's still no news as to if Scooby will be a character, despite that there was a leak in May 2022 that confirmed his involvement. However, it is possible that they decided to scrap Scooby's character for the gang while the game was taken down. There are three amusing instances in Laff-a-Lympics season 1 of characters accidentally showing up in the audience cheering for themselves, even though they are competing in the event. The first instance happens in "The Sahara Desert and Scotland," which shows the Teen Angels are cheering for themselves in the crowd, despite the fact that they are currently participating in the Fill Up The Oasis Contest. In "India and Israel," Yogi appears in the audience cheering for himself in the Reed Boat Race. Lastly, in "The Grand Canyon and Ireland," Dastardly Dalton is shown cheering for himself during the Catch the Leprechaun Contest (Leprechaun-test? lol).
"Mine Your Own Business" maintained a steady lead throughout the week, but at the last minute, Shaggy's Showdown pulled ahead and took the win!

In all three instances of this, the Yogis benefitted from the wrong medal being given out.
In "Acapulco and England," the Yogis and Rottens tied, but the Yogis are the only team that get the silver medal, whereas the Rottens get the bronze medal. Similarly, in "Egypt and Sherwood Forest," the Rottens were shown with the bronze medal despite that they were in second place, and the Yogis received the silver medal even though they were actually in last place. In "New York and Turkey," the Scooby Doobies came in second place but got the bronze medal. The Yogis lost, but were given the silver medal. |
