In Laff-a-Lympics, there were multiple times where a team received the wrong medal in the awards ceremony. In all three instances of this, the Yogis benefitted from the wrong medal being given out.
In "Acapulco and England," the Yogis and Rottens tied, but the Yogis are the only team that get the silver medal, whereas the Rottens get the bronze medal. Similarly, in "Egypt and Sherwood Forest," the Rottens were shown with the bronze medal despite that they were in second place, and the Yogis received the silver medal even though they were actually in last place. In "New York and Turkey," the Scooby Doobies came in second place but got the bronze medal. The Yogis lost, but were given the silver medal.

That's what we call manipulating the results! Yogi was engaging in illegal affairs with the organizers to receive higher prizes than earned! Shameful behavior... bringing the competition into disrepute. Lmao

All these years, we've thought the Rottens were the villains for cheating all the time, but plot twist...that's only what the Yogis wanted us to think! The Rottens were actually the victims the whole time, and Yogi just cleverly set it up to make it look like they were the ones cheating to throw suspicion off himself lol.

I would assert a disqualification and retraction of all medals won by The Yogis and The Rottens is warranted. The true heroes and winners in our hearts may only be The Scoobies. I knew we could count on Scooby, Shaggy and Dum not to cheat and play fair, so proud of them!

I say we let the Rottens keep their medals, they've been through enough of this slander that they have garnered. The Yogis' conduct was absolutely unacceptable though

Oh man I remember that segment! Robot Chicken parodies are something else lmfao. 3/5/2024 02:01:27 pm
Agreed that a disqualification/retraction of all the Yogi's medals is in order, and perhaps the Rottens also don't the three medals they were cheated out of by the Yogis as a punishment for their own cheating lol. I knew the Scooby Doobies were the real heroes all along!

News just in, Yogi Bear cleared of corruption by independent investigation run by detective duo Snooper and Blabber.

The matter may be taken to court, I hear that the Dread Baron and Mumbly have both hired attorneys, and that Scooby and the Blue Falcon are also trying to lawyer up on behalf of the Scooby Doobies 3/5/2024 02:01:55 pm
To be fair, we were warned in that Where Are You Now special that Snagglepuss is extremely litigious lol.

I just looked it up and it looks like the Rottens won three times. They also won in "Morocco and Washington D.C.," and all teams finished in a three-way tie in the series finale, "Siam and the Moon."

The Rottens got screwed. The other teams could cheat but they couldn't, #Rigged.

Hey, don't bring the Scoobies into this! Slanderous. Throw shade only towards the Yogis. 3/6/2024 01:11:51 pm
I say we give them all one round where everybody can cheat their arses off, just to even the playing field lol. #CheatALympics

Right, who's going to rewatch all the episodes and redo the scores for when a team cheats?

@Wildwind, this reminds of an iconic tweet that said: "There should be an olympics where athletes can take as many drugs as they want. Like fuck it, let's see how high humans can really jump".
