TurnerClassicMovies.com has announced two brand new Scooby-Doo films coming in 2020 and 2021. In addition to the King Arthur DTV and Scoob! film coming in the first half of 2020, we will also be getting another Halloween film towards the end of the year, likely in September or October. The film is currently untitled, but a listing can be found on TCM.com.
We've also got a Scooby-Doo and Courage the Cowardly Dog crossover coming in 2021, right now simply titled "Scooby-Doo! and Courage the Cowardly Dog." The title will likely change before it's released in 2021. Here's the listing for that one on TCM. Also, TCM lists that there will be two films in 2022. It does not list the titles for these films, or a second film for 2021 as of now, though this is of course subject to change. What are your thoughts on these two films? Note 12/19: The last TCM link is currently broken.

If this is true, then I'm down for this roster. Well, I was down for The 13th Ghost and Return to Zombie Island this year too, but in the end they disappointed me. Hopefully it won't happen this time, cuz a couple of these should really not disappoint for multiple reasons.

Courage fans seem very excited about this from how much my tweet about this has blown up, so I'm hoping they will actually put some thought into this one instead of one that didn't stay true to the tone of the original film.

Would love to see a movie of the gang going to sleepy hollow and encountering the headless horseman 5/8/2020 11:24:43 am
I would love to see that too! Maybe like a remake of "The Headless Horseman of Halloween"? 11/19/2020 08:34:09 am
I think it would be cool if they made a R rated film but I'm only 11 so I don't know how that would work out. But a crossover would be cool if they make a new scoob movie they should add Ziggy and shark.

Me initially, this sounds awesome, then, oh no, not another crossover!

Haha I felt the same way. I'm excited for this though. A Courage/Scooby crossover was long overdue IMO.

Wow i didn't know the King Arthur is officially in the works. So 2/3 of the movies are crossovers unless King Arthur will be the villian like Cleopatra in Where is my mummy? I really like courage but i don't see how a crossover with scooby works {hope i'm mistaken}. The halloween movie has a great potential for me. I love the goblin king movie and it seems that this will be a scooby gang standalone movie finally. I mean the last movie i really enjoyed was shaggy's showdown. Plz keep the horror elements of the gourmet ghost at least.

I was thinking King Arthur would be the villain, but I have no facts to back that up! I'm looking forward to the Courage crossover, even having never seen Courage myself. I'm excited for the Halloween film too! I enjoyed Shaggy's Showdown and Gourmet Ghost, and Brave and the Bold was pretty good too. It would be amazing if they did something like Goblin King, or even better, maybe a movie like the plot of "A Halloween Hassle at Dracula's Castle." I would be super pumped if it was anything like that.

Yes the batman movie was pretty good. I'm just tired of crossovers and bad childish movies especially when they are supposedly sequels to legendary series or movie. I would like the darkness of camp scare/abracatabra doo to return if you know what i mean. 12/16/2019 07:18:08 pm
I definitely know what you mean, I wish the same thing!

Thanks for the input, Windy. That would be great. I wouldn't mind these three being full movies. They sound intriguing. 12/17/2019 05:30:47 pm
Windy? Haha. Never had been called that nickname before, but I don't mind it. Has sort of a nice ring to it lol.

Very odd flipping around at the beginning of FrankenCreepy. That movie gets better as it goes along after tripping out of the gate. 12/18/2019 02:27:14 pm
I agree that Haunted Hollywood is much better. I'm glad that you could enjoy the "dumbassery" the movie had to offer though haha.

I kinda like Courage and I love Scooby-Doo but I don't think I'll like a DTV crossover. It could feel overwhelmed IDK :/ I would be fine with it being a Guess Who episode. I guess I'll give it a tru anyways.

I won't judge it until I see it first. Hopefully they stay true to tone and do a thorough job researching how to make it stay on-tone, like I've mentioned in previous comments on this post.

I liked COT13G. It had a good but mysterious vibe. And Daphne was great. But the end is a big flop. Velma was so annoying. But I have to appreciate that this film tried to give some depth to the characters, even when it's not handled in a very good way. 12/18/2019 10:55:02 am
I'm glad you could appreciate so many things about this film! Personally, the ending really bothered me and Velma being out of character sort of overtook the plot midway through.

Off Topic to a degree: I wish they would add ScoobyNatural as a bonus on one of these up coming DTV's. That would be awesome. I remember I saw it on free feed and it was pretty good.

I wish they would release it too! Right now, the only way to buy it is to purchase the entire season 13 DVD box set of Supernatural, which unless you REALLY like that episode, it's a very inefficient way for a collector who isn't into Supernatural other than that one episode to purchase it.

I just noticed that the listings for "Scooby-Doo and Courage the Cowardly Dog" and other future movies have been removed. TCM must've listed them too soon.

That's really bizarre! But at least now we know for sure that the Courage one was probably correct. The King Arthur one is for sure real, because it's been confirmed by another source already, so the others must be correct as well then and WB doesn't want us to know yet. 1/26/2020 02:31:04 pm
I hope king Arthur's court,Halloween and courage the cowardly dog
