As mentioned in several previous fun facts, the TV show Young Sheldon has made Scooby-Doo references on numerous occasions. Ironically, Iain Armitage, the show's main actor also voiced young Shaggy in SCOOB!. In addition, Sheldon's arch-rival on the show, Paige, is played by McKenna Grace, who voiced young Daphne in SCOOB!.

And wait that was Paige from Young Sheldon who voiced young Daphne in SCOOB!. Wow! I didn't even reconize her voice the first three times I watched the film.

You know what i think will be funny, if the Scooby Doo/Courage the Cowardly Dog movie possibly had some recurring villains from Courage the Cowardly Dog like Katz or Le Quack, or maybe a call back villain like King Ramses.

I've never seen Courage, except the 2000 Scare-a-Thon crossover with Scooby like I've mentioned before, but I think it would be great if they were able to use some recurring villains from Courage.

I wonder if the plot of the movie will be about courage’s parents still being stuck in space and courage ask Scooby and the gang for help.

It would be a very nice throwback if the beginning of the movie plays out similarly to the classic Scare-a-Thon bumper.

Hey Wildwind! Just saw someone posted on ScoobyAddicts all the DeAgostini Scooby cards (which would come in ~8 piece stacks with each of the 100 DeAgostini Scooby comics), the instructions to play the actual card game itself, including a bunch of stats that I had no idea about. That would be a great addition to the comics section (or maybe somewhere else) here, to have images of all the cards along with the images of all the comics that are already in the section. It was nostalgia overload going through the card list.

I just saw that post too! I'd never heard of those games, but I'll work on adding that to the comics guide!

I told you about the cards and what they were like when helping with the Scooby-Doo: World of Mystery part of the comics section. But I didn't say the cards could also be played as a game, I knew they were but I never personally did. 1/3/2021 06:23:37 pm
Yes, I remember you telling me about the cards; I just didn't realize it was a game. 1/3/2021 09:42:27 pm
I added the link to view the pictures, but when I started to add the images, I realized it's going to take way too much space to be able to add them all. Unfortunately, since I just have the site hosted by Weebly for free, they only give me a limited amount of space. I'm not sure how close I am to using up that space (I could be super far away or like 1KB away, I have no way of knowing), so I'm always super hesitant to add tons and tons of images to a page, which I hadn't really thought about when I first responded to this post. For now, I just added the same link that was on ScoobyAddicts to the page, but I'll definitely explore adding all those card pictures and the individual comic pics should I decide to branch off on my own someday and get my own domain, rather than using Weebly. Sorry about that, but I really appreciate the suggestion :)

No problems. Giving the link is just as good and more feasible. Leave a Reply. |
