Daphne is the only member of the gang whose actual birthday has been revealed. In Be Cool Scooby-Doo's "Scary Christmas," it was revealed to be December 25th.

This is really interesting. I was looking through these to see if you had any ones on the birthdates of the gang as the other day I found out Scooby Doos after starting reading the Scooby Doo comics. In Scooby Doo Mystery Comics 21 story Charmed Strife the gangs Horoscopes are revealed to be Fred Pisces, Shaggy Leo, Daphne gemini (contradicting BCSD), Velma Virgo and Scooby Doo Aries. Anyway later in the same comic Scooby reveals he was born in April and here's where it gets really interesting. In the episode Happy Birthday Scooby Doo Scooby holds a calendar with no month only Saturday the 7th highlighted (his birthday). By pure coincidence (It must be) in 1984 (the year the episode aired) April 7th was on a Saturday. Hope I haven't bored you to death I just had to share this with someone else who loves Scooby Doo!

Haha, no, you're not boring me at all! That's actually quite interesting. I'm sure it was only a coincidence and not purposeful, though very interesting how April 7 happens to be on a Saturday. Admittedly I don't have many of the old comics, but if you'd like to send me an image of the page(s) where the horoscopes are revealed I'd be happy to make that into a fun fact. Giving you proper credit for noticing it of course :)

I've been reading as many as I can online, feel free to do an interesting fact if you wish, the horoscope page can be found here, http://2.bp.blogspot.com/gsxeZHHkaMzVXY58u_rD_cARcMHYSNPCBg2Fx3_5yqRmbh2331z6YlN0egZPhKOykaJXWLBhoZqP=s1600, Scooby admitting he was born in April here, http://2.bp.blogspot.com/0ZJI7PXyxo1DBP4X0Stv8JAiJ9FaIpFq9Qlnpq9MZnCqZ2cKeYYM34k9TrmiBdIJaNec2tgBwmL9=s1600, and a screenshot of the calendar here, https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/scoobydoo/images/9/9f/Scoob_shows_calendar.png/revision/latest?cb=20170122124817

Thanks for the images! The coincidence there is quite interesting (and I'm sure others would be interested to know this too), so I'll definitely post a fun fact about this sometime in the near future!

Apologies for slow reply, glad to help and the older comics are quite interesting. Besides the bizarre advertisements, forcing guns on kids, embezzlement, dating and innapropriate t-shirts, Scooby doesn't speak and is much more intelligent, often solving the mystery before the gang! The comics are also very no holds barred, Nazi ghosts in one and a Satanic cult trying to sacrifice Shaggy and Scooby in another! 10/28/2017 03:52:07 pm
No worries about the slow reply, admittedly I'm quite inconsistent at times with replying as well, where sometimes it will take me days or even occasionally weeks to reply to a comment, while other times I'll reply within the day it was posted. So no problem :)

Hahaha, that was a really interesting read and I'm exactly the same a Scooby Doo mega fan, would agree that some of the stuff from old Scooby would not be allowed nowadays.

Just took a look at the Satanic cult piece, and wow...that's pretty dark for Scooby! Executing poor Scooby while they preform the chant of Satan? If that sort of thing were published nowdays there'd be headlines about it all over the news about how Scooby is trying to convert our next generation to Satanism! lol

I think the comics are aimed at kids in general but it seems that to make money they had to fill half the comic with whatever ads possible and you correct in assuming the villains are real although the gang didn't know at the time. Anyway, don't think there is anymore I can add, so thanks for the great chat and keep up with the brilliant weekly facts!
