Zoinks Points Officially Taken Offline

Zoinks Points, an online program launched in 2009 has been quietly taken offline. The interactive site, previously available at the URL http://www.zoinkspoints.kidswb.com, now simply redirects to the main KidsWB website.

Originally, Zoinks Points had been an interactive site, which allowed fans to purchase various characters, monsters and backgrounds to make their own fan art. Members of the site could purchase items by earning points, through entering codes found on the back of Scooby-Doo merchandise. However, in 2013, Zoinks Points completely redesigned their site and eliminated the fan art option from the site. Instead, members now could use their points to gain access to Scooby-Doo games and downloads. After early 2016, the site stopped being updated with new content, though users were still able to purchase various games and downloads with their accumulated points.

While most of the games on the site are now unavailable, there are still a few which were moved to the main KidsWB site. As an aside, there is also a brand new game that has been added to the KidsWB site, entitled "Scooby-Doo and the Haunted House." The game entails collecting various clues and keys in order to defeat the four villains haunting the house, including the Green Ghost, the Wolfman, The Ghost of Elias Kingston (referred to in the game as simply "The Kingston," which is actually quite amusing) and The Black Knight. It should be noted, however, that the site is still partially accessible if you type in this URL, though you'll notice that the top of the page says "Moved permanently: This document has moved" which leads me to believe that this is simply a glitch, and will likely soon be redirected as well.
