A few people have asked if there's been any more news regarding the Courage the Cowardly Dog and Scooby-Doo crossover supposedly coming in 2021. I'm not sure if it's coming in 2021 anymore, given we haven't even heard anything on the Halloween film or even King Arthur's Court, which were supposed to be released this year. However, it has apparently been confirmed through an Instagram conversation between Kevin Paestra and the owner of the Courage the Cowardly Dog revival fanpage, that John Dilworth (the creator of Courage) will not be involved at all. Here's a screencap of what was said. In addition, John Dilworth mentioned on his Twitter account that a prequel for Courage the Cowardly Dog "somehow transformed into another thing," presumably meaning this movie. That's all the info we have at this moment, but I will keep you all updated when more info comes out! If there are any Courage fans on here, how do you all feel about John Dilworth not being involved in the film?

This (due to covid 19} might be the first year with no Dtv movie since 2002. I hope at least on of them will be released until December 31st

The idea of a Scooby and Courage crossover is unreal, but sounds interesting at the same time. I wonder what art-style they're gonna go with. Hope they find common ground on that.

I imagine they will probably treat it like the Batman crossover and do it all in the typical art style.

I’m personally hoping Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Gang will be drawn in the style of Courage the Cowardly Dog.

Thank you very much! It’s all good. 6/19/2020 10:50:17 am
Not sure. We'll probably get the King Arthur's Court trailer first.

I myself am a huge fan of Courage the Cowardly Dog, I need to see if I can find a complete series DVD or something else. I especially loved Courage's screams, laughs, and overly exaggerated gasps and shocks, I even love his voice actor, Marty Grabstein. One of my favorite episodes was the one with The Great Fusilli, voiced by non other than one of my most favorite voice actors, Jim Cummings.

Now I'm not sure how the crossover will go due to John Dilworth not being involved, but hopefully, they will figures things out and the movie comes out at least okay or decent. We should not let our hopes get to high considering this Piece of information.

I hope that they will find a happy medium between both of the shows and make it a decent movie as well, but I'm definitely not getting my hopes up, even as someone who's never seen Courage. 6/20/2020 03:28:29 am
We need more guest stars for Scooby-Doo and Guess Who 🤎

In this upcoming crossover movie, I’m hoping the monsters that appear will be real just like in the Courage the Cowardly Dog TV show. WB had better not make the monsters fake just like in Curse of the 13th Ghost and Return to Zombie Island. Please let the monsters be real!

I think it would be cool to have real monsters! And I hope it's not another repeat of Curse of the 13th Ghost and Return to Zombie Island...I think a lot of fans would be very disappointed!

I emailed John myself, and asked him if the "other thing" that "Before Courage" (That's the name of the prequel!) "transformed into" was a separate thing from the movie, and if he had any knowledge of the Courage crossover, but he refused to answer either question, while also saying that the prequel could not be commented on! I guess this piece of news answers the latter, but not the former! However, judging by the fact that tweet John R. Dilworth made about the crossover was only a mere EIGHT DAYS after he mentioned said prequel's "transformation", I can assume they ARE seperate:https://twitter.com/DillyDilworth/with_replies

Interesting! A 5th season of Courage the Cowardly Dog would suit me, especially on HBO Max.
