Ghastly Ghost Town by a long shot. Mainly from nostalgia as it is a weaker episode of the series as well. Ghost of the Red Baron is the weakest episode of the series that doesn’t have Babu in it though

Totally agreed. "The Ghost of the Red Baron" was super weak, and mainly because of the extended flying scenes that felt like they dragged on forever. This is also my second least-favorite episode of the show, with "Mystery in Persia" being the first.

Thank you! I was just catching up on responding comments after I posted the poll, and I responded to your comment in that other thread. :) 7/4/2021 07:26:48 pm
Do you know if the disc you got is from a re-released edition of the Scooby-Doo Collection Yellow? Amazon (and all other sites I found) list it as being released in 2004, and Get A Clue wouldn't have been out yet then. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0001O3YSU

i dont know i just remember it being in a bundle on ebay so it could have just been an exclusive to sams club 7/5/2021 04:33:16 pm
Thank you! I looked at some eBay listings for it and the back cover doesn't list a copyright year for some reason. Strange. 7/5/2021 04:39:56 pm
Is there any sort of year listed on your DVD cover, or when you play the DVD? (sometimes there seems to be one at the end of the concept art special feature from other similar DVDs?)

No but it says to check out the new season this fall which means it came out in june, july, or August of 2007

Did u put it on the volumes section? Also you should make a post so that everyone knows about it 7/7/2021 11:02:17 am
I wasn't really sure where it best fit, so I put it with the compilations. I will definitely post it as an upcoming fun fact and credit you for finding it! I've already given the one next week to someone else, but I can definitely do it either that next week or the week after! I'm still looking around a bit though for what other DVD it might have been a part of, as it appears there were multiple printings of this DVD. There's a listing on eBay that says "Get a Clue Volume 1 and Volume 2 out now!" on the back cover (different than yours), and volume 2 came out in 2008, so that means there would have had to have been another printing. I'm looking into it to see if I can find what DVD that second printing came with since most other sites don't seem to list this release at all, but after I find that I'll absolutely make a fun fact post about it! :)

I voted for Ghastly Ghost Town, but in defense of The Ghost of the Red Baron, the titular villain was fairly entertaining (in an otherwise not that great episode).

The Red Baron's hopping was quite entertaining to watch lol. That's like my favorite part of that episode haha.

The idea of the Ghost of the Red Baron could have been SO cool, he was alright though. The plot and the flying scenes are what drag it down

Yeah, they could have done so much more with the Red Baron's character and made him a genuinely spooky villain, though I guess him hopping around was amusing at least lol.

I like both episodes. I will only choose "Ghastly Ghost Town" because of the extended flying scenes in the other episode.

I like both Three Stooges episodes. I’ll go with Ghastly Ghost Town for it being a bit spookier than the Red Baron Episode.

I definitely didn't hate either of the episodes, I just found the mystery of "Ghastly Ghost Town" more interesting. I think I would have enjoyed "The Ghost of the Red Baron" a lot better if not for all the filler plane scenes.

I agree with the Ghost of the Red Baron being very entertaining. Him hopping around was a really fun idea they did.

Unpopular opinion I'm so quirky you guys (Joke) but seriously I preferred Red Baron honestly

I wouldn't say that's an unpopular opinion...it's unpopular from the comments, but looking at the results so far, quite a few people have voted for "The Ghost of the Red Baron" surprisingly.

Ghastly Ghost Town, because it's more entertaining, interesting, less dull, and the stooges aren't as annoying.

The Stooges definitely did seem a bit more toned down in the first episode than they were in the Red Baron one.

Ghastly Ghost Town I felt exemplifed the best this series had to offer. I was constantly entertained and there were no lulls or gaps in character continuity that were problematic with in the narrative The term "filler" often has a negative connotation but to me, great filler is sublime. Only top of the line media can achieve such grandiose randomness that is not only palpable but readily craved.

I really liked how "grandiosely random" this one was too! There was so many different things happening at one, but it all worked so well in this. I think that kind of sums up why I like this series in general. There's a few times it didn't work - Mystery in Persia and, to an extent, The Ghost of the Red Baron, but for the most part it worked super well in this show. This show is definitely one of the more unique Scooby pieces of media for that reason.
