I know the What's New, Scooby-Doo? songs aren't really as popular by name as the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? ones, so I listed the title of the episode after each song title. For those curious, I'm not planning to do a poll for any of the Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! or A Pup Named Scooby-Doo chase songs, as not many of those (just a few of the Be Cool ones) have credited names, so either the poll options would just be me guessing the titles, or I could list each of the episode titles and people would have to try to remember which song came from which episode. I don't feel like that would really make for a very fun poll.
Here are the results from last week. There seems to be a very clear consensus this week! Which of Velma's relatives is your favorite? Madelyn - 45 Marcie - 12 Uncle John - 6 Angie Dinkley - 6 Dale Dinkley - 4 Uncle Cosmo - 4 Dave Walton - 2 Mrs. Dinkley (from Pup) - 2 Baron Von Dinkenstein - 2 Uncle Evan - 1 Aunt Meg - 0 Uncle Elmo - 0 Mr. Dinkley (from Pup) - 0

I like all of the what’s new Scooby doo chase songs so it was really hard to pick. I went with Hong Kong Holiday. That song is on YouTube and I be rewinding it a lot.

I ended up going with "Petrified Bride," but you're right they're a lot of great ones. "Here I Come Vegas" was a close second for me.

The Ghosts of You and Me is in my opinion the best chase song used in the series!

You Don't Mean Anything is my favorite. Simple Plan and the Invisible Madman is a perfect episode in general, so it also has the most memorable chase song/sequence to me.

Love the Simple Plan ones, especially "You Don't Mean Anything", but I had to go for "Time Running" because it's in my favorite episodes from the series and, I don't know, the whole chase was quite creepy.

Agreed. I think "Time Running" definitely was the creepiest chase scene, personally.

I'm super glad too! It's pretty cool to think some of these were actually charting on the Hot 100 as they were used in the episodes.

Honestly, Simple Plan doing a lot for Scooby Doo was a brilliant move considering Casey Kasem was the king of radio, hosting the American top 40 4/26/2021 10:57:10 am
Agreed! I wonder how much of a hand Casey had in getting Simple Plan so involved with What's New, Scooby-Doo?.

Was there any other series that had Chase Songs?

@Lamont, besides What's New and Be Cool, there's also A Pup and the second season of Where Are You that had chase songs (and I guess you could consider a couple of New Movies episodes as having chase songs).

Haven't watched these in ages so hard to remember. Santa Claus one is about all I can remember.
