Looking at the results from last week, Loch Ness Monster was the clear frontrunner from the beginning, and wins the poll by a huge margin.

And speaking of last week's poll, "Large Dragon at Large" being one of the options reminded me that we'd never done a dragon poll, so that's the subject of this week's poll!

4. Rickshaw Scooby - I rewatched this today, and it was fine. I didn't remember there being another episode besides "Mystery Mask Mix Up" that Shaggy and Scooby did an impression of Chinese people, but that was rather unfortunate to see here. I also thought the ending felt rushed.

3. Heart of Evil - I do like this episode, but admittedly I would put it on the lower end of my series rankings for SDMI. It's probably worth noting that I never watched Jonny Quest as a kid, so I didn't have the same nostalgia over this that some people might.

2. Block Long Hong Kong Terror - a really fun episode with a great villain and mystery. Duck Guy was also awesome!

1. Large Dragon at Large - as Becker brought up last week, this is such an underrated episode that doesn't immediately come to mind for WNSD for me, but whenever I rewatch it, I'm reminded of what a neat episode it is. Although I do also love "Block Long Hong Kong Terror," this was an easy pick for first place for me.

"Demon of the Dugout" and "Sword and the Scoob" (in that order, Dugout would be #5, and Sword would be #4) would both be in between "Heart of Evil" and "Rickshaw Scooby."

Personally, since Demon of the Dugout is one of the highlights of SD&SD, I'd put it just behind the WNSD eps. Sword and the Scoob is very meh recent DTV, so I'd put it just above Rickshaw Scooby.

Quality wise I agree with you, but in terms of the theme, “Demon of the Dugout” doesn’t really come to mind for me as a dragon episode, whereas Sword and the Scoob fits the theme a bit more imo because of the more traditional dragon.

What about The Demon of The Dugout, Sword and The Scoob and The First Sandy Duncan episode.

I forgot about Sword and the Scoob. I'd initially excluded "Demon of the Dugout" since the design is not very dragon-like, but I guess there's no harm in including it. "Sandy Duncan's Jekyll and Hydes" wouldn't count since the dragon is just one very brief scene. I added the other two though, thank you!

Design-wise I agree "Large Dragon at Large" is the best, "Block Long Hong Kong Terror" would be second, and Sword and the Scoob's dragon would be third. "Rickshaw Scooby" would probably be fourth, I did think it was a cool design even if the episode wasn't good imo. I'd put "Heart of Evil" in fifth and "Demon of the Dugout" last, since it looks more like a beast than a dragon imo.

Sword and the Scoob is my favorite out of all of these. i love that movie. i think my 2nd favorite would be “Heart of Evil” that one would go right below Sword and the Scoob in my ranking because i like Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated. i think i’d put “Rickshaw Scooby” in last place.

I’ve been out of the country without access to the internet for a while so I will also go back and do last week’s soon if anyone is interested in what my ranking is there as well. As for this week’s, still haven’t seen Sword and the Scoob but can rank all beyond that, obviously starting with:

5. Rickshaw Scooby- I admit it is a bit hypocritical, but this one doesn’t get the pass Mystery Mask Mix Up does for me simply because Mystery Mask Mix Up is an excellent episode beyond that aspect, and this isn’t

4. Heart of Evil- I really appreciate the nods to Jonny Quest, possibly my second favorite HB cartoon in the original iteration, but falls just short of the rest of the competition here

3. Block Long Hong Kong Terror- Not my favorite episode from WNSD by any means, but I have nostalgia for it. It is good

2. Demon of the Dugout- Great episode, honestly a pretty big jump between 3 and 2 here for me. As the site’s biggest season 1 Scrappy defender, this had to have been expected of me lol. But yeah, I think this is a great episode and deserves some more attention

1. Large Dragon at Large- Pretty easy number one here. This is actually a favorite of mine from the series, maybe just barely out of the top ten of the series and there is a lot of competition there. Unlike Wildwind and Becker, this episode actually stands out to me quite a bit, I have a ton of nostalgia here

5. Yeah, I feel the same way as you about "Mystery Mask Mix-Up." The scene is very unfortunate there as well, but "Rickshaw Scooby" is already a bad episode imo even without that scene.

2. Quality wise I would put this higher (ahead of Sword and the Scoob and Heart of Evil), but it doesn't come to mind at all as a dragon episode for me, hence it's second-to-last placement in my rankings.

2. Funny enough, Demon of the Dugout immediately came to mind where Heart of Evil did not for me lol. Interesting how those things can be different for different people

This is one of the few times I actually completely agree with you on a SD&SD ep, but it's still 3rd for me since I feel Block Long Hong Kong Terror just about edges it for me, both underrated eps though. But Large Dragon at Large is definitely the winner, such a damn good episode, and again another one that's underrated. The more I think about it the better it is.

Large Dragon At Large is just really good. I feel like even without the extra nostalgia for me, even just as a standard episode of the show it would still be really good and definitely above average for the series imo
